mage vs warlock

right now im wanting to either level up a mage or warlock to 80 to mainly pvp and farm leather for money..
what do you guys think i should do? mage is currently level 24, lock is level 1
 
I think you should go with the lock so you can test my CC for me ;)
 
Play what you like to play. Don't worry about class balance at the time because it is ALWAYS changing. With that said, warlocks are doing fairly better in pvp recently due to blizzard realizing they broke them, so either choice would be good for pvp. At 80, it doesn't really matter the class because your gear will be so good everything will be pretty much one-shotted. Good luck mate.
 
my main is a destro(pve)/aff(pvp) lock. i love pvp with him, i break 500k damage without even trying (aff dot everything in sight, fear, and watch it die). I also have a mage, which is also insanely fun to play (dps wise he blow the lock away in pve and does well in pvp). either will be a fine choice at end game. leveling a mage (in the beginning is brutally painful tho, be warned)
 
tyvm for your posts, i think i will continue with my mage.. i hate having to see i have died many times when i check up on my mage but i do love that it can manage its own drinks and food.
 
well give my CC a shot. maybe it will help. also if theres any issues let me know, my goal is to make it the best mage CC period. when i instated the wold pvp switch i set the bot to dual my brothers lock, of course he had to initaite the fight for it to start attacking but my mage won the 3 times i tried it. and he was pissed.

i have been using yours :p it works very well.. i guess since the mage is a low level it dies every 100 kills or so
