Mage levelling

Hey all,
Just a question about levelling a gnome mage, I'm currently lvl 48 and im on 10 hours play time at this level, does this sound about right to you? just seems to be taking alot longer than I thought.

Thanks for the quick replies, I'm using the following:

Dwarf Gnome 1-60 - Improved by Hawker

All my gear is bought from AH mostly blues, all stats are in green
My mage is fire spec and using Project E CC (seems to work a little more efficiently than the built in one I thought)
HB version is 1.9.2.5, im pretty sure it isnt anything to do with the HB client, I have nothing but good things to say about it.

oh right, thanks for the heads up, ill go and respec now and will report back if it seems any quicker

The fire spec in Project E is broken and needs to be overhauled. Its a known issue. I suggest you respec frost until you can spec deep arcane at 60

frost is more survivable with a few more tools, also you can aoe grind when you are bored.

thank you all for your input. Can't believe I didn't ask sooner now lol. I'm 3.5hrs into lvl39 and I'm half way through, so about 7 hrs seems where is expect it, does this sound normal to you?

yea, if you really want to go fire Mephiles needs more testers, and the fire spec should be working correctly.
