Mage farming toon????

I have been botting since the days of Glider. Long time botters will know what i am refering to. Anyway i am hoping someone can shed a little light on something for me. I have FINALLY lost my farming account (pali) and i am down to my main account now. I have a druid and mage at max lvl and cant decide what toon to make my new farmer and what one to put on a seperate account and play. I have used a druid before and it has always performed well but i would like to know if anyone has ever used a mage and been good at it. I worry about how well it can farm due to it being soft. Any insights will be great. Thanks in advance.

They get smacked far too easy, maybe if there is a decent CC it can do the job but at the end of the day its a cloth wearing ranged dps so its gonna die more than a Pally/DK/Druid.

yeah thats pretty much what i was figuring. I have used a warlock before to farm and it did really well but having your own tank made the difference. Oh well thoughl looks like i will play the mage and use the druid to farm.
