This is my first tip to you new botters on how to not get banned. It's quite simple but extremely effective.

We all know that player reporting is the nemesis of botting, if you get player reported you are basically fucked. Because a manual ticket will trigger a manual investigation, and there is no way your bot will ever trick a GM. Does not matter if you have the best chat plugins or the best profile.

So my number One trick on how to not get banned is:

Do not fuck with people's gold, time, or exp. If you do this you are bound to get banned.

Examples:

Gold: WoW enthusiast Joe likes to fly around wotlk and kill for frostweave cloth. You take over hes business and you force frostweave cloth down to 15g/stack. WoW enthusiast Joe, as he is manually playing feels that you are cheating him and he makes a ticket. You're done.

Time: You bring 5 bots to SoO and wipe continuously on the same boss because all your bots stands at the same place. You waste people's time. You're done.

Exp: You think it's a really smart idea to farm the same spot until the mobs turn gray because hey, you can be sleeping whilst doing it. You completely clean out a quest area so people can't do their quests to carry on. You're done.


This is the simplest way to avoid bans, dont fuck with people's gold, time or exp.
 
yea never undercut anything, and if you see stupid botters do it buy it up :) and lvl the prices how they should b. one thing i notice. stupid example

golden lotus lets say 25g/1 i pushed a bot to 1g/1 golden lotus.... really thanks. keep it up, i'm rich all those other manualy playing people already reported him for those kind of actions, still i look at my mail and my wowuction alerts always go to golden lotus trilium etc... yea stupid botters kill ah, prices to low buy some stuff and don't post till they go back up alot. if ur a gold farmer well that way its even better for you then just destroying an economy

1 thing to improve on your botting for this, dungeonbuddy; do not use advanced CRs if you cant take time to properly set them up, just use singular because some of the custom CRs dont come with autofacing and automove.

I am not a probotter but my understanding of dungeonbuddy is that it just makes you to go to set coordinates and lets the CR take over for movement in combat. But if somehow the gets in combat before he reaches the range of the mobs it just stands there and start casting buffs/whatever on itself over and over until it gets out of combat. Sure your dps might be lower with singular, but it sure gets less noticed than bots doing stupid stuffs cuz it is stuck in combat but out of range.

Also turn off auto buffs: fort, int, blessings, whatever because it will be casting it every time a new person joins before they even pop. And warriors with mass spell reflect and pallies with devo aura, turn them off because it is set up to be cast for certain% of HP and you are taking physical dmg you will just look silly. These things are just that regular player might not notice, but there are some hypocrite botters too that will just call you out.

Just my two cents, if you care about your account otherwise /shrug
 
Oh nice! So we shouldn't bot in a nutshell got it. We should have morale and care about other people, just like they do when they report us! GOT IT!!! Thank you for the enlightenment.

I got a good one. Don't bot if you can't answer someones chat...

That's a very simple rule, and if you follow that... It's full proof in most cases. :)

I have no idea what to do now lol, just got my 72h ban removed for mining pretty much, I was monitoring like 85% and all the time changing profiles to fly different directions, no chats received got plugins - Avoid players, jumpy, Shut-upv2, and using splashtop to use my pc from work on my galaxy note 3, but then on 3rd botting day i got banned.

So i don't know what to do to not get cought, becouse i didn't post nothing on AH sold to my guy, thats it. don't know how did they find me...

There. Is. No. Foolproof. Way. To. Safely. Bot. With. Gather. Buddy.

You use GB2, you'll EVENTUALLY get banned.

So some people here bot for 4 years and don't get ban, I get banned in 3 days?

And if they keep on botting with GB2, they will be eventually get banned. Sure there may be a small handful who have the right combo of Private Profiles/Custom Behaviors/Bot Timing Amount/Insane Luck, and can go undetected for years.

But it's pretty naive to say that they "don't get ban".....have you talked to each one of them personally and confirmed this? And if so, how do you even know they are telling the truth? Some are too prideful to admit they got caught.

I do every single safety measure I can for GB2 accounts, and have still lost two in a little over a year.
 
Now if you use some other bot base, that's a different story....I left my Grind bot on last spring for 6 days straight on my MAIN account on accident when i went on a vacation, came back to mailboxes full of BoE Epics and made hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of gold, still no ban. Some botbases are just safer than others (though, i think i got really really lucky with that one)

Look at my sig, since 2012.. over 2 years now and never been banned. Have made well over 1700K Gold aswell durring this time always 3 accounts and up to 8 at a time.

Also, I have always used Gatherbuddy/Gatherbuddy2 . And I bot Every day for 3-6 hours per account (Maybe not everday sometimes i take a week or 2 off )

But.......... I have botted a shit ton.. just never got too greedy... If I wanted to make more money, I would just enable another account to use GB2 on etc. instead of going from 6 hours a day on the account to 12 hours and getting banned.

Currently Running 5-Man Dungeon Crew (Lvl 90's), 2 gatherbuddy accounts and 2 accounts PVPING..

I know I WILL DEFINETLY be banned someday, any minute, but I'll keep doing it the way I am with my profiles and such and hope for the best.

Not really sure you wrote any advice there except "Bot less = earn less = qq less".
And it's quite obvious that there's a risk-reward curve from botting. Everyone knows this.

My advice is still solid, if you want to minimize the risk of getting a manual GM investigation. Don't piss people off, simple as that.

Honestly... 700k in 2 years with 3 to 8 accounts.. i don't know why you are so happy and proud, you clearly suck really bad at this. Did i misunderstood or wtf are you talking about?

yeah, on how to be the most ineficient idiot guy ever, wasting so much money/gold on accs and prepaids?? the fact that you even wanted to argue that is beyond me. honestly not even 100k per acc in 2 years and want to teach anybody something? Please don't treat that as an achievement. And my 3 accs aren't banned btw, thank you very much ;)
 
that is bollocks i only did questing i bothered with no body afther 1 year they banned my main and all accounts that i have bought again with no same credit card they just ban when ever they want if you bot
