Well, I'm sure you could try harder and actually read and understand the whole thread. We ALREADY have a Mac. And we play WoW on it, with good performance. But as HB is based only on Windows (wich I totally understand), the only options we have are: Emulate, or use Boot Camp.

How i it to first fix all bugs in the Windows Version before moving to other OS?

I tried Virtual box but it wouldn't run wow at all. It would bring up a little box telling me it was unplayable, just as it did when i Boot camped Windows 7 as well. I have a iMac Quad processor 96oo Nvidia video card. you'd think it would have any problems but i strangely would do this everytime.... Someone [please] give me the specs for the RAM that i would assign to the VMware. I know will be assigning it 50gigs for memory.

UPDATE: Assigned 1 core and 2Gb RAM on my Boot Camp partition and ran it overnight on Parallels. It offers better performance than VMWare, but crashes too, like when I use Boot Camp. Maybe it's a Boot Camp issue, then.

UPDATE 2: I've tried another virtual machine. This time not using my Boot Camp partition but a fresh new Windows 7 Starter with 1 core, 2Gb RAM and a newly installed WoW. But I'm getting an error starting Wow: "Failed to find a suitable display".

To do: I'll try to install some video drivers on the new Windows 7 Starter virtual machine and see if I can run WoW & HB there.

When Mac has .NET support, we'll look into it. As it stands, the OS itself is a big hurdle to make a bot for. (A lot of our stuff just plain won't work on a *nix derived OS.)

With that said, we have no plans whatsoever to support Mac (or linux for that matter).

To those of you who are going to claim Mono support on Macs... just plain no. Quite a lot of Mono is buggy, or not implemented. Especially the low level things we use for HB/GB. (Not to mention, we're already abusing the language to do things that aren't very well documented.)

I am from Eu and dont really see the need for a MAC Version...
Who wants a Mac if he can get the same Performance for 1/4 the Price?
A cheap Notebook with Windows costs 400 Euros what costs the cheapest Mac?

Guys if you do something differend then do a Linux Version.

UPDATE: Ran Parallels all night long, zero issues. The wow error has disappeared (^_^ )

Setup:
iMac core 2 duo 2,19ghz
4gb Ram

Windows 7 Starter running under Parallels 6:
1 core & 2gb ram. (Parallels tools installed, to enable 3d support and thus, solve the "could'nt find a suitable video device" issue)

Hb tested for 7 hours with lvl.81 mage

I had trouble loading some part of HB 3265 because the file was shared between OSX and vmware lol. I could not run AB because of that. Don`t know why, it was the first time it happened. Copying the files directly on the VM`s C: solved it.

Tell that too my MacBook Pro, 1 logic board replacement, 2 charger replacements, 1 battery.... in 2 years... and i know im not alone from my friends
