I want to know whats the best bot to use that doesn't require baby sitting, so i can go to work and come back expecting to be a different lvl.

can u lvl from it. Archeology bot?

I have leveled several of my toons from 60 to 85 with just Archeology. Just start it in Eastern Kingdom and let it run. you dont even have to upgrade your gear because there is nothing that can kill you (at least until lvl 80 when the Cata zones open up to Archeology). At that point I just move them to Outlands from 80 to 85.

really thanks so my mage is 72 atm if i do Archeology would i get to lvl 80, and how do i get started get a Archeology profile and other suggests for plugins as well.

There are no Profiles for Archeology. You use the Archeology feature in HB, the same as you would the questing or grinding or GB2 feature. Make sure you have learned the Archeology skill before you start the bot (this can be done in SW). There are always 4 dig sites active on each continent of WOW and the bot will search for these sites and move your toon from one to the other, dig for artifacts and assemble the items you find. Each dig gives you XP and raises your skill in archeology. You can use Archeology to level your toon all the way to 85 if you choose. Just leave your toon doing archeology in Eastern Kingdom or Kalimdor until 80 and I always suggest moving your toon to Outlands at 80 until 85. The reaosn for this is that the Archeology sites in the Cata zones open up once your toon hits 80 and your toon can die easy (depending on your class) whe you try to did a spot in Twilight Highlands as 80 or 81 and run into too many mobs.

Remember, with Archeology, rested bonus is your best friend. Make sure you park your toon at an Inn every night when you are done playing to build up as much rest bonus as you can. Also, so you know in avance, the XP from Archeology scales as you level so the XP you earn per dig at 73 will be higher that what you get at 72 and so on all the way to 85.

I would also suggest turning off "loot mobs" as you will probably kill alot of low level trash as your run around each dig site and the junk can build up in your bags. That is just a personal peference though.

Your not quite correct with that outland blabla, Digsites that open up are based on your Archeology skill, not your level. As it seems you let the bot train your skill too high, but if skill is capped at 375(Bot default) you wont get those nasty cata zones. Ever.

Have to double check but I'm pretty sure ArchBot also trains Archaeology to start)).

Check again Fin. :) I have left my toons skill caped at 375 and even below that and the moment they hit 80 the Cata zones pop open for them. Now it has been a month or so since I last leveled a toon (maxed out at 10 toons on my fav server) but that was how it happened for me on the 5 or 6 toons I did with archeology. It may have taken a few digs before a Cata site showed up but regardless of my skill level my toons were getting their ass handed to them in Twilight Highlands at 80. Of course they were still wearing level 60 gear but I wasn't wasting gold on gear upgrades past basic greens until they hit 85. Regardless, I still would have switched over to Outlands and Northrend for a while at some point just to get the different rares these zones offered along with the acheivements that go with it.

I am not certain about Teveel's post about Archbot initially learning Archeology for you. I have always just gone and learned the skill by hand and then started the bot right from the training area in SW. It may be correct that the bot will learn the skill for you at the begining. Easiest way to check is just to start the bot and see what happens. :)

I can confirm ArchBot will learn the skill for you tested on multiple toons ally and horde.

Ive also levelled multiple characters with archelogy and i am 110% sure you WILL NOT get cata digsites if you dont train above 375 skill. Latest Archeology char dinged 81 last night.

For proof, look example this site World of Warcraft – Cataclysm: Archaeology Guide 1 – 525

Under Archaeology Level 375 to 450
At 375 you will begin to see dig sites in Northrend

Under Archaeology Level 450 to 525
At 450 you can basically go wherever you wish, though you will start to see dig sites in the new Cataclysm zones.

Why does everyone insist on arguing with me, as im 90% of the right.
