Low fps in raids etc

I have a good machine,
i7 4930k
32gb ripjaws 2400mhz
radeon 7990
raid setup of ssd's etc

playing wow in dx9 windowed at 1080 is unbearable in 20man + raids, even on good or fair gfx settings... impossible to dodge anything

Any suggestions?
I tried searching but is there an optimal settings guide?
