low dps no matter what?

Hello, i use end game/raid combat routines and no matter which CR i use, i'm usually behind the optimal dps by about 200-250 dps. For example i am using crusader which uses the optimal OT combo and yet i only reach around 900 dps at ilv 221 when i should be reaching somewhere around 1050-1100 at least. I honestly doubt the combat routine is the issue since it is using the optimal rotation and not letting the dot/s drop. My internet is around 170-200 ping, which i doubt is the issue too. Does anyone know why else i would suffer from such low dps? Thanks! EDIT: My gear is perfectly fine too, this was discussed with an expert paladin user.

900 is about right for pld OT in i220.


The usual dps meter isn't 100% accurate either. Use this instead Final Fantasy XIV Stone Sky Sea Calculator or google "stone sky sea DPS calculator" if you don't trust clicking

I'm told i should be doing around 1150 or so. And according to the other paladin parses on YT, i am definitely behind.

Are you playing with autofacing on ? and your ping is going to hamper it a little as well.
