so i let GB run for a few hours and I came back and i have 700 mails to my alt toon with the subject "70" and with nothing. Needless to say, it was a pain to get to the mail with items...how do i fix this? Definitely a big problem.

That's quite a nice AddOn. I was using EasyMail before which is still pretty good

MailGet will let you retrieve all of your mail at the click of a single button.

You can click either the "Take All" Button on individual messages, or on your entire mailbox.

Blank messages with only items attach remove immediately. Messages with text will have their items removed, but text remain. Messages with money in them will automatically be picked up. Auction house winnings will be retrieved. Auction house listings that do not sell will be retrieved.

Doesn't say anything about deleting empty messages though but you should try it

I've had that happen a few times aswell.. Make sure they are all blank and make this macro
Code: 
/script DeleteInboxItem(1);

This macro will delete the first mail in your mailbox, reguardless of if it has attachments or not (SO MAKE SURE ALL YOUR STUFF IS GONE FIRST)
Spam it 700 times and you should be golden. :)

This macro also works GREAT if you've got a shitload of AV marks in your mailbox :)
 
yeah i looked through a few and its pretty annoying. I forgot which one will do it for me. I would post it but i dont know lol.
 
I actually think the CT mail mod was able to take care of it for me. definitely a hassle. Anyone know what it does that?
 
Seriously, are there no other options than spamming a macro? I have several toons,and this take just too much time :(

Why does it happend?
How can we prevent it?
Will it be fixed?

Also, Postal wont open those empty mails.

I've only had it happen twice in 2 months... its not a very big issue.
 
I had this issue as well, it was to do with the profile trying to mail soulbound items or conjured items. I had to modify the profile and add these items to the protected items list. It was not so much an issue with my mage, but on my warlock it was terrible because of soulshards etc.
Since making the changes, I havent had a problem at all.

This = win

I tried to remove the few soulbound items I had, but even one soulbound item cause alot of empty mails.

Edit: This is a issue with both GB and HB :)
