Lots broken in new update (questing, professionbuddy, dungeonbuddy...)

I was having tons of issues earlier. Especially with Profession Buddy. What you want to do is download the newest version and install it CLEAN. IE: Not over your old copy. For example, I had mine in c:\hb. I made a new dir called c:\hb2 and put it there.

After that I had no problems.

Tyrael: Was working fine for me in a raid 30 minutes ago

Questing Bot: Running it now

ProfessionBuddy: Was leveling tailoring prior to said raid.

Maybe take a look at the profiles/CRs your running mate.

Oh, and I use TuanHAs, so I doubt Tyrael is a CR issue.

What I'm trying to say is don't immediately blame the HB team for an issue only on your end. If there aren't thousands (and I'm not exaggerating) of posts on the forums, then HB isn't broken, YOUR HB is broken.

I'm not "blaming" anyone. HB is installed on 2 separate computers. WoW is patched; new HB update comes out. I install updates on both computers, and HB has all sorts of problem on both.

I post on the SUPPORT forum regarding the issues I've experienced, and attach the appropriate log files. I believe this is an appropriate course of action. Just because YOUR HB works doesn't mean everyone's works - just look at all the threads - I posted this a couple hours ago, and after several replies it's still fallen to page 2 before my reply bumped it.

As DX123 stated above, clean installs often fix issues, and that's fine. But if HB requires a clean install each time it is updated, why is there an "update" process? If HB notifies you when you start it that there is a new version, and would you like to update it, don't you think that it should update without causing issues? If not, then why bother with the option? Do you think they intentionally put out an update that is broken?

But hey, thank you for taking the time to state that YOUR HB install is working properly. That really helped me.

To be fair tho, I should acknowledge that "Maybe take a look at the profiles/CRs", and "I use TuanHAs, so I doubt Tyrael is a CR issue." are appropriate replies to my post, so thanks for that.

Nodecaf in most of the cases problems come from 3rd party routines/plugins or old profiles not yet ready for the latest HB release.
Download the .zip file from the download section and install it in a new folder.
Do NOT install any 3rd Party extras and run it.
If you still see the error please attach a logfile.
If its gone add your CRs and Plugins one by one until you see the error again. Notify the corresponding author then about the issue.

Vanilla Install in a new directory, no third party addons CR, bots or Plugins.

Chose "Questing", "Load Profile" and loaded http://www.thebuddyforum.com/attachments/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-profiles/neutral/99527d1374263914-sharecropper-sunsong-ranch-harvesting-cleaning-planting-sharecropper_enigma.xml

The bot ran, but did not harvest, plow, or plant any seeds. It did activate the Pest Repeller and Sprinler, then stopped.

Are there changes in the new release that are not compatible with the profile? Please advise.

Hey Tony, thanks for the reply.

I did just that at Bot Op's suggestion, and focused on just on issue rather than lumping them all together. I updated the results in the post right above yours.

Obviously a change in HB changed the profile behavior, but I am not sure if it was by happenstance (kind of like with the "interact with" issue, which required a change in HB to correct), or a documented change which requires the attention of the profile writer to update as well.

Please advise. Thanks!
