After last patch when i use HB i fell from 60 to 10-15fps,
never had that problem before anyone who can give me some pointers.
All addons are updated and i use no plugins.
We know of no other causes of FPS problems besides these two at the moment.
After you've taken the corrective actions described in the two posts cited above, if you would like us to look into your particular problem, we'll need to see a full log of the event, please.
I checked and i have not disabled Desktop Compositing, and i tryed disabeling all my stuff from Buddy, but i loose mosete of my fps when i start ut the bot eaven before i start it, it goes from 60 to 15-20 when i start it and downt to 8-12 if i have producks from buddy on, but if i turn them off it stays on 15-22 fps as it does when i just start up the produckt, have alog with from just the startup of HB, and one after i started it too.
Hi again, Steintor, and thank you for the update and fresh logs.
Another place to check for Desktop Compositing on Windows 7... be certain you are using the Aero desktop 'theme'. Use of a 'classic' desktop theme will also cause compositing to be turned off.
Please provide us with some information:
Right-click on "My Computer"
→ Properties
→ Show us the complete line for the "Processor:" description
If you've ruled out the "Desktop Compositing" issue or a product from the Buddy Store, then it appears the problem is not Honorbuddy, but directly related to the WoWclient. And the number of cores you have available causes the issue. Here is a couple threads that discuss this in more detail:
Very large thread on the Bliz forum about FPS drops in battle
The thread makes clear that it doesn't matter how 'big' your graphics capabilities are, if you have a CPU with only 2 cores (e.g., i3, and some i5) you will be affected (A core supports two hyper-threads. People frequently get cores and hyper-threads confused, and that's why we ask to be shown the full processor description, so we are all on the same page in what we're talking about.)
Honorbuddy might be be the 'other app' that will cause the WoWclient to misbehave, because the WoWclient is not getting to use all the threads it wants on limited-core CPUs.
