I agree, with Legion the racials will change so humans won't be the superior race anymore. It will still take quite some time before you'll actually notice it because every1 who has a human as main will probably play it in Legion. But maybe in a year or so the win/loss might flatten a bit out.
Furthermore I agree that playing your char yourself will greatly increase the chance of winning. The standard BG bot is decent but still far inferior to playing yourself unless you are such a newb that you REALLY cant do anything yourself
In bigger BG's 3-5 bots wont matter MUCH, but in 10 or 15 man bg's every botter greatly decreases the chance of winning.
I myself have stopped botting in BGs for 2 reasons:
1. You get reported easily, especially if you're loosing much (which will happen more often when you are botting in a BG). As long as you win other players tend to care less about a botter here and there in a BG, but when you're loosing people get cranky and start looking for excuses as to why they're loosing and they will be a lot more alert for botters.
2. I regularly play BGs with friends and I hate botters (because it makes you loose BGs). I don't wish for a bot to be in my BG when I'm playing so I shouldn't do the same to others IMO.
When I want to gear my char a little bit I just gather gold and buy a bunch of
Champion's Honor. If you buy like 7 of em and play some arena/ashran/BG's yourself for 250 extra conquestpoints, you can buy your weapon(s) and 1 or 2 more conquest pieces, along with a bunch of honor pieces. With 14 Champion's Honor you can gear yourself fully with combined conquest/honor gear.
