Loot in Combat?

I'm sure I'm just blind and missing it, but is there a way to get the bot to loot as it goes without the need to safe clear everything nearby? Backtracking several screens to pickup is slowing me down. Like I said, I'm probably just not seeing it in the options but any advice would be much appreciated!

lower your combat range
