Read a Wow forum post with a pic of the ban section and went over there to check for myself.

They say the *****ters all got permabans.

Not sure what conclusions I'm supposed to draw. They were probably reported months ago, put on watchlists, and all banned at same time. If there were detection for bots, ALL bot users woulda been banned immediately. From what I've seen, it' just a small sample that's been banned.
 
This is old news and this is not the place to discuss it, take it to the ban discussion forum please, a mod should move itm but there's threads already there about it iirc.

50 users ban....it's a old news.....but i'm glad cause thecamel was ban ....
 
I haven't seen a single thread but w/e it's all good. I will definitely keep my thoughts to myself. You all can have the forums.
 
Blizzard is hammering down on bots. Just because HB is running does not mean they are not doing what they have for years and collecting accounts to ban once again. But now they have a sercret weapon which will hit sometime in the future. :D
 
I actually started a thread about this the day the bans at RB hit. Idk what happened to it....
 
I avoided bans somehow, but Im done for a while. I check the HB forums every once in a while but not worth it at all at the moment.

lol You think i care about that one account ? i have over 30 accounts on the go atm, not quite as butt hurt as you are about your PVP.. Please leave your embarrassing your self.
 
I wonder if Blizzard is satisfied enough with the Wow Token and decided they didnt need our(Botters) subscription money. its like they have a free will to detect us at anytime now compared to before

simply bad programming, i checked on their bot, it sux with all the measurements possible, their developers are too weak, the bot has no anti detection, the admins and moderators doesn't know anything on mechanics..

im sorry no offense, but they better close their bot down, it's nothing compared with honorbuddy...

honorbuddy is the best, and it will always be the best.

if HB is detected these days, we would have known, we'd be caught in seconds, blizzard can't detect honorbuddy atm... but still they can do it in so many ways.

I dont agree with that "being caught in seconds and banned approach" ..If Blizzard truly wanted to put a nail in the coffin so to speak they would wait till 6 months is up and re-ban us again ..alot of us havnt got the will to return to botting UNLESS we were comforted by HB and had some confidence we were undetected.

Exactly, Blizz usually bans in waves, so for all we know ppl using bots have already been flagged for further review.

As for people comparing HB to other bots, imo all bots are the same(ish) - don't diss anyone just because you don't use their products, we are as guilty/exposed to a ban as other bots - the only difference is we have a much larger user-base which means when the bans hit us we are a lot more vocal. I haven't used other products so I can't say which is better or not, but I think all are the same when it comes to safety, with the way warden works no matter what admins say, we are always in danger of getting caught.

I laugh every time I see a post from some nerd saying HB is better, or the other bot is better - who cares if 1 tomato looks better than the other tomatoe.

difference between HB and r3bot:

- HB devs admitted that the bot was detected and allowed the community to discuss the situation. HB was turnned off and I hope they fixed something. It took some time to do fixes, at least I noticed, that I started getting error dialogue when I close HB and it triggers wow client crash.

- R3bot devs didn't react to the banwave at all, moderators keep saying that it's just an ordinary bans that happen on daily basis :D I heard that they delete threads\posts they do not like too. And I think (I'm not sure) they didn't turn off the bot while they investigate what happened...
 
just to point this about the other botting platform offers pretty much 0 pvp CRs for arena. The bot is an AFK type scenario with Leveling, farming, AFK BGs and etc... The only CRs you can really find are for PVE.

Yet this was targeted by Blizzard. Blizzard again researched and analyzed the patterns of all the AFK pathing shit and took down a bot.

So all you people blaming arena CRs for HB can pat yourselfs on the back and think this will save you, but its really the complete opposite. Its the AFK crap that gets bots targeted and taken down. I'm not trying to start another troll fest fight but its pretty obviously that the Arena stuff was a scapegoat by Bossland to try to make it seem like their core offerings weren't the issue when they were.
