Trying to make a chest farming profile and was hoping someone could help me with some basic questions.

1. When info dumping, where does the data get dumped? I'm trying to find the codes for a couple objects and did not see it. Assuming they are called actors.
2. What range does a data dump give us? Everything on screen, everything on map, or something else.
3. If I want to interact with a certain object what is the best function to do so?
4. Is there a way to override settings of demonbuddy or trinity?

Also, if there is a getting started guide somewhere can you point me in its direction.

Thanks

Hi,
I would advise starting out by checking out already created profiles. For example http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...56880-a5-abandoned-siege-camp-chest-farm.html is a chest run profile that would be a good starting point.

1. The data gets dumped to the Demonbuddy screen down below the dump button.
2. Range seems to be a bit further than your current screen. Not the entire map.
3. If you are trying to interact with a chest... Trinity will do this automatically. Profiles typically just provide the path for the bot to run.
4. Depends what you want to overwrite.

I believe there are some good links to be found in the forums. Maybe someone else could provide a good list.

I see Borderjs answered some of the questions, however just figured I'd provide a couple of useful guides on tags & etc if you are interested:
http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...rofiles/54605-all-available-profile-tags.html

Thanks for the info. I have used that chest profile but between it and Trinity fighting over placement it makes it very inefficient. With such a limited amount of target points I feel it would be a lot better to simply check for the chests at the select points and open them w/o Trinity. There are a maximum of 5 chest locations and a couple loose stones along the way that when I use to run this manually I could simply click on as I went past. Not this whole stopping to think about it.

Another thing I was hoping to get answered is what is the priority order for movement and what is the dectection/pickup range for legendaries. Cause my toon uses an always on AOE spell to destroy destructibles and sometimes a legendary will pop after it has gone past the area. I have noticed the bot will not go back for the gold piles as set in Trinity .25.

Thanks

Many thanks Drazz. Great starting point. One thing I do not see listed is MoveToActor or SafeMoveTo just a simple MoveTo. Has MoveTo been deprecated? What is the difference between those three.

Thanks
