Looking to upgrade from my current 4 bots to 10+. Wanting to build a new rig to help run the bots, however I'm unsure on what I should specifically be looking for. Am after a cheapish build that will run multiple bots - won't be used for anything else apart from botting. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would say the first thing you need to define is how much you're whiling to spend on it, 400? 500? 600? 1000?

Second thing I would consider is where you live and which places you can get parts from, for instance newegg and others.

Third thing is weather or not you're going to be reusing any parts such as CASE, PSU, etc.

Once you nail these 3 things you will have a better view of what you need and what is your limit so you know what sort of parts you can get.

I for example can't import computer parts as there is a importation fee on the customs of my country that makes the product cost 3 times its price making it not worth the trouble.

Go with cheap as shit stuff, so when u get banned its not such an investment.

I would get this for 10 bots:

1055T or i7 920
8-12 gb ram
100gb ssd
450W PSU
some shit GFX, like 4850 or 460GT works fine.

U can usually get these systems used for like $250-300

EDIT: I can guarantee that this system will run 10 bots. As I have both (one with 1055 and one with i7 920) and they both work fine for 10 bots.
EDIT2: Just checked to give you some numbers, atm running 5 bots on a i7 920 with 12gb of ram. Physical memory use is @ 35% and cpu usage fluctuates between 18%-30% with 50% spikes when you're in Orgrimmar.

You get 10 to run on that setup? /impressed, the video card must be struggling to survive when you run 10.

Do you also run dungeon or raids with those bots on that setup?

Computer-wise both dungeons and raids works fine. However I cant run raids due to my internet being too slow :) 384kbs down and 50kbs up is not enough for 5-10 bots in a raid.
