Looking for Guidance please assist

So please excuse my ignorance and try not to be to abusive for my lack of knowledge.

My friend allowed me to use his copy of DB while he played WOW pre-2.0 and it was literally plug and play. I didn't do anything but hit start and it ran for almost a year.
2.0 comes out and he's now playing again, so I purchased a 3 day key code and it was plug and play too. No Problems at all it ran for me for 3 straight days.

Now i need to farm crafting mats so I bout an unlimited access key code... I know, why was a being cheap in the first place.

It won't kill anything I tried bounties to start and it runs until it get stuck infornt of to many mobs then dies and aborts the bounty quits.
I then loaded a profile for Aughilds mats farming and it makes the games and leaves even if the bounty is there.
then i loaded a fallen dev act 4 profile and it starts that profile makes the game BUT it wont kill anything.

I have NOT altered any setting and it has always just run without adjustment. Mob level size is at 3.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

For the bounties i loaded a profile for auto updater as the rountine requested I did, so maybe the "update" is causing the issues.
