Looking for advice from someone who runs 5+ copies of Honorbuddy

I'm looking for someone who has some history of running 5+ bots at once. Some questions...

1) Do you run all of them on the same PC? If so, do you use some kind of virtual machine software?
2) Do you run all of them on the same IP address? If not, what kind of IP software do you use?
3) What do you bot? If you're using Gatherbuddy, how do you convert your gathered mats into gold every day without spending tons of time at the auction house?
4) How successful are you at selling gold? What site do you use to unload it? Do you manually trade the gold to other players or use a guild bank?
5) Do you have all of the characters on different servers?
6) Do you put different names on the accounts and use different payment types for all of them?
7) Have you ever been banned? Are they ever banned all at once?
8) Any other advice?

I run them off 2 Pc's My laptop and my main comp. I do not use any Virtual machine software.

Same IP.. I haven't had a ban in over 2 years.. Last time they only hit 2 bots..

3) Is there any other software you use to escape detection from Blizzard?
You can always use SSH tunnels and a *** or something.. I really cannot be bothered due to accounts being so cheap + all the effort + extra money + If the net drops you're pretty fucked and have to muck around a lot

4) Do you put different names on the accounts and use different payment types?

I use SoR time or game cards. None of the acc's have the same name.. All made up

5) Have you ever been banned? Are they ever banned all at once?

I've lost 5 acc's in total.. only 2 due to botting though and that was from stupidity of just going hardcore for 7days 24 hours a day in a very popular spot when I first started

6) Any other advice?

Don't bot more then 8-10 hours a day.. Try to find private buyers for your goods and gold I always prefer trading gold with the same people.. if you find regulars it becomes so much less suspicious

1) I have only run up to 4 bots on 1 computer. A separate laptop works best for me when I'm seriously botting.
2) I use an IP cloak software that allows me to put each of my computers on a different IP across the globe.

4) Yep, all accounts are under different names. It gets confusing & I just lost one account because I could not prove identity. It was a bought account from a "friend" who ninja'd it back. Expect to lose accounts if Blizz wants you to prove ID. I have a lot of resquests to reset password due to IP changing on accounts. Yes, I use multiple forms of payment. Currently moving to a repped seller for time.
5) Never had a ban, but I am sort of a noob still.
6) Bot like a human...do not bot 24/7 & post tons of crap to the AH. Join a huge guild (500+) and never talk to folks on your bots - I found it best to just pimp my own guilds. Be as asocial as possible on botting accounts. I use several guild banks & alts to play the AH, this helps not get noticed by others. I will also delete AH toons every now & again. You can easily bot 24/7 without detection if you are rotating accounts being online. Its easy to setup with relogger support.

Most of this I learned from a friend & through reading posts in these forums.

Everyone always says to find private buyers, but how do you go about this? I mean, you can't stand around in trade chat asking everyone if they want to buy gold. You can't even talk about it in game, or it's probably instaban. Where do you find these buyers?

Who says you can't troll trade to gold buyers? Ever been in trade on a high pop server? Put a level 1 toon on 3 of the high pop servers in your region & I'm sure that within 5 min you will see how folks are finding buyers.

I haven't actually been on a high population server before. I'm leveling my first bot account right now and I didn't think to use a starter account for spamming, that's a good idea. I've only used the bot to supplement my own playing on my primary account until I started this second account a few weeks ago. I made the mistake of rolling on a medium population server that doesn't seem to have a lot of activity, so the gold making has been slow. I'm at 8k gold right now, and I plan to buy a SOR account when I get enough gold, and then hit 85 on the SOR account, hopefully on a high population server.

You don't worry about blizz seeing the reports of spamming, and then matching the IP to your bot's IP?

Be careful with SoR accounts. I know too many people who have lost those toons. If you are botting, just take the 5 days to level a toon on a regular account. It's a lot less risky. Also avoid high pop servers (PvP servers also - takes too long to lvl with CRZ). Med pop is a good way to go. There is a lot less competition for resources & a lot less competition from other sellers/under cutters. You can honestly just do some simple farmer, craft, vendor routines that will get you 15k + per account per day.

As far as bliss seeing the chat chat, use an IP cloaking or tunneling service. They are very legal & prevent Blizz from knowing that all you accounts come from the same place.

One suggestion for a med pop server is to start a guild. Use SGI to ninja inv folks. Use your guild message of the day to offer to sell gold - tell folks to contact u via mumble/vent/skype for more info. You can get a ton of folks in your guild that will buy from you. Then the only hard part is keeping enough gold in stock to meet the demand.

I must be doing something wrong then. It took me a couple weeks to hit 80 on this regular account I bought from blizzard, the questing bot was getting stuck ALL the time. As far as 15k per day, that's WAY more than this server I'm currently on seems to be able to support. I've been doing mining routes in sholazar basin, and there just isn't very much demand for the WOTLK herbs and ore. I was planning on using the gold to get the next xpack, but it's taking quite awhile. For instance, since I posted yesterday, I've only sold 1000g worth of ore and herbs. I started farming frostweave cloth today since that seems to move faster on the AH, but it takes quite awhile to get, especially since there's no cata gear on the AH for me to buy to beef up my toon.

1. All same PC. No virtual machines.
2. All same IP address.
3. Everything gets "auctionated" automatically with my profiles. Raw mats.
4. Haven't sold much gold. It's not worth it on my realms.
5. Nope i have "main realms".
6. Nope and nope. Same name and same credit card to pay with. (Buying RAFs only now though)
7. Yes all account but two banned (28/30 banned in 3 days).
8. Have different names on the accounts and different payment methods. Ask a gold buyer which realms that have the highest gold demand.

Run 5 bots all on the same PC, no virtual machine software.

All on same IP.

Currently using remote AH via iphone, allows 200 auctions/account, so post 1000 auctions/day, have to do the rest manually as I have time.
I would recommend looking into the AH bot for PB, I just haven't had any time to try to set it up myself yet.

No comment, but hint, just find one of the trusted chinese companies that post on the ownedcore forums. The one I deal with currently is always guild bank.

Yes.

3 have different names, 2 have my real name, i don't think it matters. All are the same payment type.

7) Have you ever been banned? Are they ever banned all at once?
I've been botting since glider days in vanilla. So yeah, I've probably had 15-25 accounts banned over the years. Sometimes all at once, sometimes they miss a few accounts for no apparent reason.

8) Any other advice?
Learn how to and get into the habit of making your own profiles. It can be safer and more profitable.
