LoN thorns crus barrels and CoE

I have enough cdr to be lining up my bombardment with CoE Physical, and i'm using barrels of spikes. Why am I using bombardment when my lightning CoE elemental is up?
I am using steed properly, not bombardment tho. anyone had this problem before? also i'm using trining .39

its using it during lightning b/c phys is the next element, bombardment does its damage like 1.5 sec after the cast(not sure of exat timing) coe buff is dynamic not snapshotted, so bombardment is cast early so it will be doing its damage during the phys buff in its entirety
