Lol? MVP says you will be banned for Item Flipping on GAH/RMAH

Nothing to worry about really, if you read the whole thread he later says:

He is just saying that in THEORY (ToU) it could be a bannable offense, so if they would want to fuck you over the would be justified by it. In practice this would never happen though.
 
Somewhere in the EULA or the ToS it says that you can't use the RMAH as an investment vehicle.
It's pretty vague as to give Blizzard some wiggle room to judge, but I know of perfectly legit players that got banned for playing the RMAH.
 
Surely you could just buy an item at ?20 and then a day later sell it on again for the actual value of about ?40-50? If Blizzard ban you, just say you found a better item? I can understand them banning you if you put the item up for auction straight away, but waiting a day or so when you have time to find a replacement seems better?
 
My cousin made $1k+ flipping items in rmah in 2 weeks, no ban yet.
 
Just because its in the TOS/EULA doesn't mean its right or legal. I wouldn't be surprised to see blizzard get sued by someone over it eventually. It takes a week to get the item anyway and most people will just say i bought it and didn't get it for a week I didn't need it after that.
 
it doesnt take a week to get your item. Ive made about 200 bucks on the RMaH in the last 2 days flipping items The stuff i found in the Rmah that im flipping i had it with in hours of buying it. Id say 2 to 3 hours after buying it, it was in the completed tab ready for me to put back up. It does how ever take up to 3days to get your money when you sell something.
 
Sometimes you get items instantly. Happened once when I bought using blizz bucks. On average takes about 1-3 hours to get an item, never over a day, at least for me.
 
Why would they put on the box:

"Trade the spoils of war
Use the real money auction house to buy and sell items for real world currency. Then draw on your earnings to buy more ever more powerful items or cash out your trades, take the money and run. The choice is yours."

We are buying>selling>taking the money and running

I guess it doesn't say "re-selling"... lol
 
MVPs are idiots. They know nothing and the only reason they get MVP is cuz they suck Blizzard's dick the most. There's a great quote in that post from a lawyer who pretty much explains the difference between an investment vehicle and flipping and of course the MVP ignores it like a 'tard.
 
Please stop quoting these "MVP"s.

You can mostly ignore the lower level blue posting grunts too and just pay attention to guys on the senior level like Bashiok.

I've got about 6 accounts perm forum banned for telling them this exact same thing..

Don't think i used the word "dick".. but suckass was used a few times.
