Logical profiles

Hey. I'm new to development with HB so I was hoping someone with experience could answer these short questions, so I know wether or not time spent learning is worth it or not (aka, if I can accomplish what I want)

I was wondering if HB supports adding logic to profiles in any way?
I'm thinking of making an AV profile and would like to add logic to it.
If profiles does not support it, would it be possible to do it through the plugin system?

I am not too experienced in profile / plugin writing but from what I know, I would say:

Yes it is possible to a certain extend.
When you read through the wiki and the howtos available here, you can find alogrithms to check certain states of you character and the world but this doesnt go too far. so depending on what exactly you want to do I would recommend a plugin.

Apart from that, the AV part of BG bot works perfectly so I wouldnt see a good reason on making it new. imprroving it is another thing

I'm with you here. You can't really do much in profiles, but by making for example a botbase you can add w/e logic you want. I suppose it's also possible with a plugin, but I'm thinking a botbase will be the best way to make it.

Okay a would like the change my opinion on what i've said in my last post: I thought of another BG. But just in case I tried it again as dd / heal and i must agree with you: It really does NOT work pretty good.

The problem looks like its trying to move to the best possible location for fight / heal but all that causes is, it is running back and forth a few meters and not going anywhere, therefore not getting as much honor as would be possible.

I would also be interested in participating in a new botbase or at least improving PvP bot / BG Bot[beta].

Please give me a hint how and if at all you think you would start doing that and I am sure we can find a way to do it.
Even starting a new thing not finishing it is better than waiting and complaining about the hard work of others that just isnt a perfect as one wishes - just my opinion =)
