Logging into app after bot question

So I'm curious to know if I log into my app on my phone while bot is turned off to put on an incense and lucky egg, would this flag my account for hacking/botting?

Obviously i'm using the park about 2 miles away from where I'm at right now and I want to just turn off the bot and log in on my phone. Anyone know?

I think if you deactivate gps in phone nothing can happen.

Maybe Admin can confirm that ?!?

how do you open the app on phone/tablet without gps ? app told me no signal but it wont open the game then
