Hey HB team,

I'm having this issue with the new release. Every time I try to log in I get get the "Logging in..." splash for about two minutes, than I get a "Authentication Failed" message right after.

I have reloaded, double checked passwords, re installed and rebooted my computer and no fix.

My OS is 100% updated, went to the point of reinstalling some latest updates. Here is a log from today of stuff I reinstalled.

It was literally working on this machine yesterday, and than I closed and reloaded for ArcehologyBot and this error came about. I reinstalled to HB800, and still no go.

Not sure what else I can do.

gimme a log from 5800
Hb crashes after these 2 lines of log?

Hb uses port 5031

are you on a limited network or something?

Open Port Check Tool

write 5031 in the port box and press check, if it says connection refused something is blocking the port and that ultimately makes
a loop where the connection doesnt reach the authentication server.

if you are tech-savvy you can netstat while pressing login to see if you actually is getting info from the server or if the program even tries to connect to the server
hint: having a erroneous install of .net framework is one factor that i had for this, and i could login just the day before and after a app restart it didnt work anymore until i fixed .net framework

Alright:
So I hooked up a different router (which would always give me Loading Tiles errors and downloading mesh for hours) and it works. This one connects and such, just afraid that it wont download mesh and I will be stuck with that problem!

enter router management on the other router then and portforward it,

cmd->ipconfig and then enter the ip of default gateway into your favourite browser :) login is usually typed on the router itself or if it is not try with username admin and password admin or username admin and password : password, should solve your issue then :) its because the other router has a more strict way of pushing through traffic, and i would strongly recommend you to use that router since its much safer :)
