Locked

again 3 accounts locked. 2 locked for the first time and 1 locked for the 3rd time. (guess is ban time for that one ) .

Same email as always. Greetings,

Please read this mail carefully, as we would like to see your issue addressed as fast as possible.

An investigation of the World of Warcraft account Blizzsucksbigtime has produced evidence that the account has been accessed by someone who is not allowed to use it. We have therefore temporarily suspended all access to the account to prevent further abuse. In order to resolve the investigation, please contact us with the following information via the webform:

Account Name: The account name you are using to login.
CD Key: original WoW game CD-key (we cannot accept Expansion CD keys).
Your Secret Question and Answer.
Name: the full name that the account was created with.
Address: The address information given when the account was created.
Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created.

The CD key must be from the World of Warcraft box you used when you registered your account. If you have more than one copy of the game, and are unsure which key is the correct one, please include them all. There is no need to include the keys marked "Trial Edition". Expansion CD key is not accepted.

Any ideas what could've trigged this?

This is for 500% a scam mail mate.

And this is all the information that blizzard/battle.net requires in order to retrieve a "hacked" account too. All that person now has to do is act like they're you, call blizzard and say they were hacked. Boom, now they're got your account name, password that was resubmitted to another email address because the one that was used is no longer accessible because it was "hacked".

This was not blizzard or battle.net at all. I don't know what you're trying to pull, maybe you're planning and spamming/phishing users from this forum and creating a situation that they'll maybe remember or think is genuine and happened to them now, then they're screwed.

This is fake and was a scam.

Quit it with the scam thing. It says use the web form, not *go to this link* and such. It's legit. Learn2read.

Man, they can create the web form that looks identical to what battle.net/blizzard would have. I know this is a scam, 100%.

They will never ask you for this information at all, anytime.

And battle.net will ask you what information you want to submit, not tell you what to submit in order to verify the account. Also they do not ask for the full cd key, but only the last five digits, as all companies would do... for instance the last four of your social, not the entire social because they're not allowed to publicly display that type of information not even to their staff.

yea atleast some of these emails are fake. blizzard NEVER asks for ur info in a mail whisper or w/e, they only ask for that info on the webform or on the blizzard support telephone thingy

Quit spamming! Lol. I say it's possible and that's that. I had to call to have an account unlocked and was asked for many details like this. And they do ask for address sometimes. His accounts were locked FFS, how can you still claim it's a scam?

Category of Violation: Third Party Program / Botting

Greetings,

We are writing to inform you that we have, unfortunately, had to cancel your World of Warcraft account:

It is with regret that we have to take this type of action, however it is in the best interest of the World of Warcraft community as a whole, and for the integrity of the game, that we have cancelled your access to the World of Warcraft servers.

Please be advised that sanctions in relation to this matter will not be taken against any new accounts you may wish to create, but the characters from your cancelled account will remain irretrievable. If you should wish to create a new account, you will need to obtain a new and unused CD key with a retail copy of the game.

XD

Lol lunatiq the scam mails are so good because those mail actually exist. What shows these are real is the "use the webform" instead of "use <a href='scam.com'>this</a> link"...

those mails stopped, Hurayy . and now new mails... using 3rd party programs... February Wasn't my month.

This aint a scam at all. I had it once. As written above:"An investigation of the World of Warcraft account Blizzsucksbigtime has produced evidence that the account has been accessed by someone who is not allowed to use it." I went to the wepform and made a ticket i think, then i decided to call them cus i was fed up with waiting and they unlocked my acc, changed email, pw, secret anwser. And here i am sitting, playing the same account, botting as hell. Oh happy day!

For all the guys who yell it's a scam, Think a little. Hackers can't lock your accounts.

Yes there is multiple ways to get your account's password and your username (aka email).
They really can create totally Blizzard-like webform. Only difference will be the url, it in most cases say something like: battlenet.net or something which is very similiar to Blizzards url.
They can use phishing, fake emails, even keyloggers and javascript attacks.

Just keep always in mind, if you get an email you have been banned or suspended. Go and try to login, if login works your email is very likely to be a scam attempt.
I personally dosn't ever even open this kind of emails. It keeps my account safe.

And good luck to you db00, : /
