Hey All,
So with the release of 5.4 I took the down time of HonorBuddy to rebuild my bot computer. I just went to download WoW on it and log in and got the pop up saying "Do to suspicious activity, this account has been locked". I checked the bot email and had the following message from last Thursday from Blizzard:
Greetings,
Due to an unusual change in your access pattern, the Battle.net account [email protected] has been locked. This can be caused by logging in from a new location, but it may also signal an attempt to compromise your account.
Blah blah blah.
Now all I had to do to unlock it was answer my security question and change my password. I checked the account and didn't see anything missing on any toons so I don't think I was hacked. I use Teamviewer when i'm at work but technically i'm logging in from the same place I usually do because it is just a remote to where the computer is.
Is this something I should be worried about or can I carry on boting on the account?
Also, I was going to download and try Hidemyass to block my IP address just incase the bot account gets busted it can't be linked to my main account. Is this a good idea or not? Will I be getting this same problem?
Thanks a ton in advance!
