I'm considering starting my own little gold farm with about 5-10 accounts but I have a few questions...

If 1 account gets banned do all your accounts get banned due to the IP?
Would botting on different realms per account help?
What is a good method to sell gold safely?
What are some good methods to earn money as safe as possible?

Thank you guys :)

1. It is very possible that all your accounts or more than 1 will be banned due to what activity they have. I'd use VPN.

2. If you want spread currency around more realm, or if you want to cover more realms that is very possible yes.

3. If you use some kind of middleman, or sell it to another farmer cheaper than his selling price. Or go on Playerauctions or g2g marketplace.

4. Farm 1-2 hours per account monday to thuesday, weekends I'd farm up to 2-5 hours depends on what im doing and how much selling activites.

Ahh brilliant thank you, in response to #3 though I've been told a lot about chargebacks via paypal, any way to get around this?

EDIT:- also what are some good VPNs to bot 5-10 accounts?

Make a donation thing on Paypal etc, people cannot chargeback a donation I think.(They donate the money, and you trade the gold afterwards.)

Or else you can make a store on Paypal, where you take screenshot of every trade you do. And if they will pull a chargeback you send the screenshot of their virtual item is recieved to paypal ofc.

Or as i said sell it to another farmer let him do the selling. You will make smaller profit from this, but its a good way to make safe money.

There is always a chance of being scammed either way. So theres no "Perfect" method to do this. Only advice I can give you is learning how paypal works :) (How to win chargebacks etc)

someone will most likely correct me but in my experience, if your selling to someone via paypal. its worth verifying thier details via a phone call using the number on thier paypal , incase someone is using a stolen paypal to pay for it.

They can't charge back digital goods as they have no protection against it, all you have to do is put a simple agreement page and do not describe it as currency of any kind but digital goodies, as currency is illegal to PP agreement.

Also if it was a credit card charge back then even if it was a donation it will be charged back, but if it was a legit person PP can verify then they won't charge back.

If you have a good volume of sales you can automate that with some companies service that will eliminate 80% of the baddies out of your payroll, like geomind and others.

Make sure you watch which VPN you use. It is a regular tactic of most botters on the server and use of certain public VPN's is no doubt already monitored by Blizzard. IMO it is a false sense of security since all it does is hide your IP and ports.

The donation idea wont work. You CAN dispute a donation.

2 things about paypal. First, if a person files a standard dispute, all you need to do is note in the dispute comments that the item purchased was a VIRTUAL IN GAME item and not covered by paypals buyer protection policy - that will decide the dispute in your favor every time.

The second thing tho is a deal breaker. If the person does not file a dispute, but instead files a chargeback by claiming to paypal that the use of their paypal account was not authorized, you cannot win. Ive had that happen a number of times and its fucking annoying. Its a loophole that professional "thieves" use to get money back whenever they want with no recriminations by paypal. Luckily its rare enough that its not a huge issue. In about 5000 transactions ive had this year, its happened 4 times.

Frosty

Chargebacks seemed to occur 24/7 when I used to be into buying and selling gold for another MMORPG since as someone stated paypal doesn't cover virtual items. I'd rather do it the safe way and sell to trusted gold buying websites, does anyone know a good one?

Plus anyone know a good VPN?
