I see a few posts in the forums about people that say you should not bot 24/7 does it really matter though? I mean I know the more you bot the higher chance you have to get caught but I mean no one really gets caught with HB anyway right?

People get caught. That's the main risk of botting.

Don't bot something you can't stand to lose. That's the basic rule.

Now, some people are running bots 24/7 and don't get caught for ages. The probability of being caught depends on a LOT of variables.

Some people say "Don't put too many items in AH", yet I have hundreds of auctions and I have no issue, but, yet again, I was "playing" the AH game since my first toon was lvl30 back when I started playing.

It all comes down to how lucky/unlucky you are, to be honest :-)

I don't even use the AH to be honest I just grind honor and level XD
Any other factors?

And thanks for your help Znuffie :)

Well, let's break it down into small bits. If you're on a populated server and you grind in the same spot for many hours and someone notices you there for a long time... people get suspicious and might report you.

Again, this is back to luckn. Personally I can tell right away when someone is boting, but I'll never bother reporting, even before I was botting myself. I just don't care. Some people do care... ;)

So just use your common sense. I could describe hypothetical situations over and over :-)

Love this guy
Thanks for the help :3

And in some terms the program is detectable even if we don't think it is and we blame the "luck" - (even if i don't belive in luck generally)
