Lifetime key expired AND buddyauth error

my lifetime key seems to have expired, too. But:
Logging into Buddy Auth Portal
- Buddy Auth Portal shows:
This account is locked out because of too many invalid password attempts. Please contact support at [email protected]

Coincidence?

For our long term plans, it is inevitable to do the following changes effective immediately (tomorrow - 18 January 2017). We are changing all existing Demonbuddy and Honorbuddy Lifetime licenses to expire after 2 years of usage."

I bought mine in mop and mine expired today even though it was supposed to expire june 3rd, though technically in many years from now on
