Anyone who has an spriest and wants to get in on this but doesn't know a good profile, PureRotation V2 (HB) or Mentally's Hysteria (PQR) are amazing profiles! Keen up!
sorry to say that ... but Mentally'S Hysteria isn't that good for Spriest (tried it yesterday), it misses to cast the filler spells, i switched back to Rubin (or Nova? i think it was Nova) for comparison reasons, cause it did the rotation well ... not that much dps that i thought i would get, but this was another issue not related to the profile or purerotation.
Hmmm this is really, really interesting. So much so in fact, that I'd be interested in starting the same/similar on my server. What preventative measures are you taking in respect to the people who contact you (in terms of making sure they are 'legit)?
New section please in forums to establish groups such as this.
I've been doing a small interview on Skype, talking about their experience, going over raid times, asking their dedication levels...the usual recruitment questions. But even that hasn't prevented people flaking on me. This stuff is a lot harder than it originally appeared. On one hand, you'll get dedicated hardmode raiders, and then some you'll get that claim to be beast, and really aren't. So, we've been mixing and matching to complete the group in an orderly manner, but it's proven to be quite the mess. One thing I'd recommend to anyone in the future doing this. Don't put stock in anyone that can't transfer immediately. I made that mistake with a shaman.
1. DO NOT allow IRL friends into your group. Because if they flake, or suck you're put in a bad spot in terms of getting rid of them, or if they leave.
2. Require a voice over IP meeting, to make sure they have a mic, and that they aren't so elitist that you aren't going to be able to control your group.
3. Get proof of their conquests. Do not accept someone that has nothing to lose. Someone with nothing to lose, has no reason not to report you, if they get replaced. --Only accept main accounts.
4. Require they have the funds available to transfer before wasting your time.
5. Require they complete the transfer after being a verified fit to the group.
That's the quick and dirty, and how I'd do it if I could do it over again. I believe the above, would have saved me a TON of headache.
On that note, my group currently has most of the bugs worked out. Still a few loose ends. Need a healer, and a replacement hunter for our current when we move to three days a week. Our current hunter isn't bad, he just cannot do three days a week.
No resto druids :O Shameee!!
If you end up needing/being interested in a Fury Warrior with TONS of legit raiding experience, playing at a very high level prebotting before hand please shoot me a PM and we can discuss. If not, I still really like your idea and envy this, good luck regardless.
i wouldn't mind joining you.. but..!@Mirabis, PM sent.
Found a healer, as well. So now are we need is a Hunter for when the group goes to 3 days a week for hardmode progression.
Obviously didn't read my rule set. =P Not remotely interested in anything but main accounts. I've got something to lose, as well as the rest of the group. Not wasting time with people that don't.i wouldn't mind joining you.. but..!
my hunter is like.. 480 :S and got like 0 progress on it
it would have to be on a bot acc tho, won't trust you with the "main" one![]()
Too bad that ye are on US. would have been interesting.
But it would also have been interesting to try to make a fully automated 10 man team. Just for the sake of the challenge(coding the DB profiles on your own for every role on normal mode).
But i'm a poor studentso yeah.?
Anyways, back OT.
Good luck with the progression!
