[LFG] Full Bot Raid/RBG Group

This page has been move to: Full Bot Raid(Revised), for the sake of better maintaining multiple groups.

Scope:
We are looking for bot users to complete our raid group, as well as some people interested in RBGs on US - Alliance.
Currently the top guild on server is Horde and Top 500 West, 13/13HM, the only raid group close to them is also Horde but 11/13HMs. We see this as an opportunity to compete for Server Firsts.

Why?
It's hard to explain to your raid group why your DPS/HPS is wavered when the bot has hiccups, such as random crashes, bot down time due to patches, and CC issues. Which is why I am interested in completing our raid group, with people that do understand.

Currently we have:
Tanks
Prot Warrior - nomnomnom's Fury Unleashed.
Blood DK - PQR

Heals
Mistweaver Monk - PQR
Resto Druid - Mirabis' Leaves CC.

Ranged
Demo Warlock - Millz's Pro Demonic CC.
BM Hunter - TuanHA's SE CC, position may become available
Frost Mage - PQR
Shadow Priest/Disc Priest - PQR

Melee
UH Death Knight - PQR
Enhancement Shaman - PQR

What we need:
Ranged - Hunter

Backups/Casuals
Tentative Raid Group 2

We will be a, hardmode focused, 10 man guild.

When would we raid?
Days: Wednesday and Thursday, tentative Sunday
Times: 7pm - 11pm CST ( 8pm - 12pm EST )

When would we RBG?
Days: Sunday
Times: TBD

About Us:
Pre-bot, I was an Officer in a 10 man guild that was Top 5 US-Frostmourne(H)
Post-bot, I was a raider in a 10 man guild that was Top 3 US-Frostmourne(H) after coming back to WoW and leaving me previous Officer position.

One member is very interested in RBGs, botted, as pre-bot he was a 2400 experienced lock in TBC.

Why thank you. We've already had some interest, so this is looking promising, thus far.
 
I'd really be interested in this but I'm concerned about compromising the safety of my account by being reckless and exposing myself to others. I would level up a death knight just to speed things up, rather then wait a week or two to each 90 from 1.
 
Well, my thinking is this. We could have a guild, with only our toons in it. We all have something at stake in the group. Whether you transfer your toon and rename it, or level a new toon, you're still being known by those in the group as a fellow botter. If you'd like, I can give you my Skype in PM and we can discuss options.
 
Now, our raid group will have a private vent chat, passworded, for our raid group. If we decide to stick with the lvl 25 guild I already GM, no one in the guild outside of those already there that bot, knows that we bot ourselves. Being discreet and account security is just as important to us.
 
There really should be no problem as long as the people that are in that raid are the only ones that know..
 
I do understand the fear, though. As the old saying goes, "There's no honor among thieves."
 
Damn... literally just left moonguard as a shadow priest. I've wanted to do that for a while, good luck!

This actually sounds amazing haha, what experience were most of the players pre-bot (PvE)?

I'm very interested in this, I was in a top 10 US guild during t14 on my rogue pre-bot and once discovering pure for my DK I have main switched and not looking back.

However the bit can only do so much for you, you can have good dps but if your raid awareness isn't good and you are dying to stupid shit your raid team won't get very far so I would like it if most of the players were from heroic raiding backgrounds...
 
Although I do not have any intentions of giving full details, Guild name, etc...to the community as a whole. I will be sure to keep the community in on whether or not it's working as hoped. Thanks for the support guys.

I totally understand your peril. Let me put it this way, one of the players downed Kel'Thuzad at 60. There was only a handful of guilds that did that, one of them being Nightmares Asylum. In this group, we have a member from Nightmares, that was there for KT, not to mention he's in a video of the first ever recorded Ragnaros kill for level 60. He also happens to be a friend of mine, I've know him for over a decade, we went to school together. There is a myriad of players. By recruiting those that are botting their DPS, we can have them focus more on mechanics and the environment. I'm wanting to go pretty seriously, so is everyone we have so far.

TL;DR, bot or not, I'm not trying to bring terrible players that think they're good because the bot can max their DPS while they stand in trivial mechanics.

Ok that sounds good, I was in a guild that cleared everything up to and including Spider / abom / four horseman wings in original naxx.

I've had this idea for a while, just didn't figure it would take off, as I was always afraid to approach someone I felt was a bot, and ask them flat out. So, I started with some friends I know in person, that play/played pretty hardcore, we tossed the idea around over a drink and decided to press on with it.
 
I appreciate everyone's support. We currently only need one more to complete the group; a Shadow Priest.
