I tried WAR when it came out, for a few months. Wasn't impressed.

What made DAoC work so well was the three factions. You weren't always fighting against the same opponent, so it kept things interesting.

Plus they tried too hard to copy WoW with instanced BGs and RvR areas. They should have left it open like the old frontiers on DAoC. I know it's a different game, but they should have kept what worked well instead of trying to copy WoW.

Well, I think it's against the rules to talk about other bots here (even though it's for a different game) but Macro Goblin is a good program as someone else suggested. I used it with DAoC, EQ2 and WAR when I was playing. The only other bots I've used for other games were made using AutoIT scripts.

I have tired mmoviper for WAR, it was alright. Not the best bot in the world but it does the job.

MMOViper is absolute garbage compared to other bots. The developers are also notorious for taking part in some unethical business practices, such as DDOSing their competition.

Mythic has some very, very, very nice graphics and the engines to run them (and the clients, at that!). Maybe its something in the settings why its a memory hog.

Anyways, back on topic (after I ninja'd the thread).

DAoC was pwnface for pvp / rvr. I loved it. It was great until WoW came, and everyone bandwagoned over here =(
