Wanted to start a hunter because my druid is fully geared and capped out for the week. I have leveled many toons to lvl cap with Questing bot, my only concern is obviously people getting the hammer. Have many people been getting banned lately through questing bot? What are your thoughts and maybe throw me some advice before I start.

I would say as long as you're monitoring it and not being super obvious about it you'll be fine. I've gotten a few characters to at least 90 lately and nothing yet. Just play it smart and you'll be fine.

I just re activated an account and got the free 90 boost which I used on a hunter. I started the kicks autoloader outside the portal with all that shitty 483 green gear and just under 200 gold (I trained herb and skinning). It didn't stop once....took about 20 hours to get to 100 and then proceeded on to finish up the entire quests in Nagrand and then started doing the bonus objectives for zones. The only reason it stopped was becuase of the rolling server restart. It also made about 10K in gold just from questing :)

I'd highly recommend the questing route, I've levelled multiple toons from all different levels with it and have had very few if any problems!

I'd reccomend Spegli's profiles; they're expensive but flawless and incredible. He's very quick to respond and help; I can't speak highly enough. They have the added benefit that 100k+ other people aren't using them. I've levelled over 11 toons 90-100 with it with some very sketchy 24hr streaks, never once banned/suspended.

You can't beat the default questing pack. It's free and works.
I posted this on the other thread but I'm a multiboxer who does solo dungeon stuff with 5 characters, and I was going to get 11/11 classes on all my accounts,

I'm running all 5 accounts 24/7 until I have every class on each of the 5 accounts to 100.
Not one of them have been banned and the project is almost complete. Very few issues with stucks.

Echo is also in charge of the bug squashing on the Default Questing pack, and he's nearly on 24/7 and offers Skype support.

I have leveled 20+ characters with the default questing pack I know it's great. I was more or less trying to find out if blizzard was watching the questing bots atm. Trying to get a general concensus :)

Given Azhemoth's post, I wouldn't think they're watching it. If they are they're doing a poor job. Lol.

Currently I'm pushing limits as well for testing purposes, and all of my accounts have been fine for the past few months I've been testing with them.
Unless you just get extremely unlucky - you should be fine as well. Quest related bans are typically very rare, and even on a "bad day", the rates are low.

If Blizzard actually does decide to watch questing bots, then no questing pack is safe.
Even if it's randomized or private - which that has been proven in the past already.
Blizzard has a lot more elaborate methods of detecting bots than just looking for persistent/static movement.

So you're best off to just go with whatever pack you prefer.

Just my 2 cents, But I think the questing bot with default pack is safer than most, especially if used carefully. As of now i have 2 100's, an 80 something, 2 30 somethings, and i haven't been banned.I intersperse botting with actual play, like dungeons and pvp, and then go back to questing. I don't bot the same character for more than a few hours at a time, and i absolutely do not bot BG's.......ever.And all my quest botting is with default pack.Just try to play carefully and you should be fine(just remember alway's a random chance, so don't bot an account you couldn't stand to lose).Oh yeah, I also almost have draenor pathfinder using default questing pack.

Personally I'm paranoid about letting the questing pack go 1-100 on it's own without doing some hand work and dungeon runs to break up the "exact quest order as everyone else" bit but it works over 90% of the time on it's own. 11 100's so far.

The best thing you can do is go look at the bans forum and decide for yourself if its worth it or not. If the number of bans scares you, don't do it. Otherwise, bot on.
