Hi guys,

I've been trying different profiles and somehow have always run into trouble. I don't understand how so many people have leveled to 80 using HB when my toons always get stuck at some point or the other. So far I've only been using questing profiles because I heard they are safer. Do you use grinding profiles mostly? or both together? The highest I've gotten is level 39 using Breakneck by Mord and then got stuck so I tried Hawkers but that didn't work too well either. What am i doing wrong?

I do appreciate the help and the effort of developers to put out free profiles, but I'm just a little disappointed because i dreamed of a couple of 80's when I purchased HB and so far it seems to be difficult to get there.

ALL profiles are dangerous, if you get reported and shadowed by a GM no matter what kind of a profile you use, its pretty well a great chance of being banned no matter what/how you're botting.

This bot works great, it's gotten me three 80's in a few weeks, which is not straight level grinding, but raiding with my guild, pvp, screwing around, etc.

I have had great success with this profile pack,
Deltasniper3.
Remember to do a quick edit on the profiles before you load them, setup your selling/mail options, etc.

The only questing profile I've used that is public is the Bloodelf 1-21, which was still buggy due to bad profile design.

I'll say that again, questing works great, when you make the profile yourself or find one that is perfect, I have yet to find a good public one worth the time of using (too much babysitting).

The method 1-80 I like is, 1-50 grinding (maybe some instances if you want to watch IB), 50-80 Mixed Mode (PvP + Grinding, you'll have a metric ass-ton of honor to blow on upgrades too! Note the Call to Arms as well, huge XP boost.) and maybe some instances mixed in too here, benefits are JP, gear that looks non-botted.

Plugins I like to use, ClickToGo for the long runs out to somewhere, Tidy Bags for easier management, AutoEquip for the AFK times, eBuy (not 100% working right now, make sure you disable it in the settings) for the food/drink/mount detection, QuickIRC for the AFK/monitoring factor.

Another side note, it's a huge waste of time to have the bot train for you after you leave your newbie zone, it will NOT use flight paths currently (in development, or so I've heard), but run his/her ass across the game to the city then train, do this yourself when you see fit. Set your hearth in your major city of choice.

Ok well Blizzard has had people who just pvp level now adays. Grinding straight is NOT smart, but with the instability with these questing profiles standing there for 7 hours trying to turn in a quest is even worse. Use mixed mode so it pvps and grinds, then take a break every once in a while and fishbot, or even give instancebuddy a try if you don't want to slow down the leveling.

Like Liferose said, probably the best overall.

Grinding isnt the most awesome thing in the world, but due to questing beeing mostly in beta there isnt any complete questing profile yet. So i recommend to do like this, i grinded and used IB to 51 and then started to use "Mixed" and grind together while waiting for "Random Battleground" queue(During the times of Call to arms, switch to that battleground only) Ive done about 0-71 in 3week now, not boting 24/7.

Call to Arms can be fcking insane, i know last week alliance won everything in SOTA, so my friend got 71-80 in 24hours by bot

Alright I will try that till Questing becomes more stable. I do have a years subscription anyway, :D so its all good.

So how exactly does this work? From what I read, I load a grinding profile and turn it to mixed and que for battlegrounds and the bot does the rest ... is that right? I'll even do a few instances by hand I guess to get that to show on achievements too.
Am I on the right track? I'll try that tonight. Thanks for the replies guys.

Why do you guys recommend battle grounds? Other than make you look more human like, it seemed to be a waste of time. A couple honor points and 8k xp (72 priest) for half hour of bot time. Just wondering if I'm missing some thing or if it's either a just for safety or b because my priest ass got gang raped too much to get any xp/other available. (new to battlegrounds, never really tried em, don't know much about them at all)

Because its almost double or triple, if not more on CTA's, XP per hour.

Instancebuddy rocks, but after you hit 72'ish, simply just GB to 80 imo via farming. Thats what I did. :)

I always think to myself "what would a human do" so I vary it, one day i run BGs, one day i quest, another I grind, and yet another, i do instances. Sometimes, I'll put IB on a certain instance to farm for an item upgrade, or ill do a few quests or grinding to get the last few bars of a level to open up a new dungeon for IB (violet hold is a botters dream, so small, easy for the bot to get around, decent loot too) I'll run different grinding/questing profiles too, after a couple hours on one, I swap etc. As much as the devs want HB to be an easy 3 profile solution, the best way is still going to require a lot of hands on work, but still significantly less work than actually doing the leveling by hand.
