Leveling a druid

So, I started leveling my druid, first toon with HB. He's 21 now and I switch my spec to feral but I don't know if it was a good choice. 1-20 in balance got better exp/h but I'm not totally sure about it. It may looks slower because of experience level cap.

Anyone leveled druids in feral with hb? I'm using Bride of the Chicken CC and Gnome/Dwarf 1-61. Currently just level bot, not mixed with any battleground ( CC doesn't support feral pvp if I good remember ). I'm using heirlooms: chest, shoulders and dagger ( no emblems yet for 2h mace ). Any tips how to improve leveling speed or surv?

Leveling a feral druid as well :D

I've used Death chicken with balance, that druid is now 75, it's doing great in BG's.

My feral druid is only level 30, making 15k/h exp so it should make the level in 2-3 hours.

So far no problems with either of them, i've noticed though, that the Balance druid sucked hard without a "good" gear.

Leveling as feral now to compare the speed of leveling and decide which will be my spec for the next druid i make :)

/played on the feral druid : 2d 7h 2m
/played on balance : 16d 5h 45m

The balance one went a bit slow cause i started it out back on the earlier stages of "bride of Death chicken" CC, now the CC is smoother than ever with balance :).

Just use a leveling feral spec, use autoequip/eTrain plugins and eTalent if you want .
Buy like 10-15 stacks of drink before you start botting, that should last you for a good while.
Later on you won't need as many drinks at higher levels :) (if you went feral).

Good luck :D

From past experience feral is the way to go for PVE grinding. It gets faster and faster as you level.

I found something odd, bot is walking then he stops for like few seconds and then he start walking again. State says that he's moving to hot spot but it doesn't look like before when he was moving to the hot spot...

Feral spec if by far the faster spec to level. I've got 2 Druids, both the same level when they started, one is leveling Balance and one is leveling Feral, feral is 3 levels ahead.

Radi3000, are you using a plugin called AutoEquip? This is known to cause problems like this at times.

Thanks! fixed :)

Disable "AutoEquip" , it does cause abit of "delay".

It should reduce after the first 5 minutes though..but it still exists =/

I stopped using that autoequip after level 20 because its a bit easier to monitor incomming gear by hand as i had this problem above quite alot.

Ok, AutoEquip was the cause for sure, but now I have another question, how do you guys manage dodged and parries from mobs? I see that almost every Rip is dodged and parried... It's kinda suck because it does less damage without the rip. I have some hit rating from heirlooms but It's about 6,5%. Any ideas? or just leave this alone?
