mmy son is nearly 8 and has had the game since 7th july we have travelled to both turkey and new York in the last 6 weeks so he has played the game there, we also spend a lot of time in London (we live in kent) he has just tried to log on and has got the humble message, he has never botted or used 3rd party software with his account so im not sure why? ive sent the appeal bit in but don't expect a human reply oh well this seems to have turned out to be a proper shitty game from a ruthless company,

The humble message isnt a ban though, keep trying to log in. If you see the "cant retrieve game data from server" then you are officially benned.

I used the bot on my ip but I don't go into this forum from my ip I use my works ip, I think it may be my home ip that has led to this for him so still my fault

I botted tons of accounts on my ip but my main account is still not banned. IP bans are very risky and not even effective so I doubt Niantic uses them.

That message isnt a ban message as far as I know. I highly doubt that niantic is going around and banning all accounts associated with an IP of an account that has suspicious behavior. Not only would it be stupid of them to do that but no one that I know in real life that bots has had any issues with other family members accounts getting banned. My wifes account isnt banned and she plays on the same IP as I do.

The fix was to delete your Google account from your phone, delete the program, re-sync your Google account with the phone, re-install the program, re-launch PG.

That humbled error occurs from Google out of sync.

By submitting an appeal, the answer from Niantic seems to be a perm ban.

I have read about heaps of others having their legit accounts banned as well. Niantic must have recruited a bunch of intellectually disabled people to go through the banning.
