Legion pre-order refunded! :D

Hi there!
Like so many of you i was hit by the wave yesterday-now
I know many of you have been asking if you could get your legion pre-purchase refunded and i am here to announce the happy news!
First i tried appealing the ban, by admitting to the crime, and explaining how dedicated a warcraft fan i am (probably the wrong approach looking back) and explaing that i had recently pre-ordered legion and bought whole *FIVE* faction changes.
This appeal was rejected with such a small comment, that i struggle to think that they even cared to read it.
I then further replied that i felt a refund was in order, for both the pre-purchase and the in-game services, and a rather nice GM responded that he have refunded my pre-purchase, but that the in-game services are not available for refund, since i had "enjoyed them for a bit already"
HOWEVER: he did specify that "but please note that it's an exceptional refund, so further refunds won't be available within 6 months."

But give it a go! You have nothing more to lose
 
haha, actually works! i just did it too, wow, just put in a support ticket saying you have not breached any terms on said purchase yet as its not available and they give you a full refund, even if you have used the free 100 boost.

Solid legal brief my boy.

In all honesty, depends on where you live. I've heard if you ask for the refund over live chat you will have a lot more success than if you just submit a ticket. Please don't charge back guys, it's fraud, a federal crime; you're unlikely to be prosecuted for it; but, you know..

I just asked for a refund via PayPal and they gave it to me. Go me.
 
A refund would be splendid! What process is everyone doing to get to the live chat? I keep getting an error or when I tried the call back it says my phone number is invalid.

Edit: Blizzard support site is down...

That kinda depends on what grounds you claim for the chargeback. If you say the product you purchased was not delivered, there is no fraud.

It depends upon the terms of sale as well; I and pretty much no one I would have guessed would have read the sales terms. Now, I would guess blizz would have slipped something into the terms as so you can't claim a refund for not delivered if they banned your acc; In the same manner, We don't own our accounts, blizzard owns all of our accounts and their contents and "achievements"
 
Just got a refund for all my 3 accounts banned. they were purchased less than 14 days ago, new WoW accounts with legion pre-purchased. All of them got banned 25th of may.

The law of Denmark upholds a 14 day return policy on anything bought online, even digital goods, software and hardware. So if youre from Denmark, purchased within 14 days, you can always get a refund if paid by VISA or Paypal. You will always win a paypal dispute if within the 14 days. Even vs. Blizzard as they are the small fish in this matter.

2x 49,99 EUR refunded. and 1x collectors 59,99EUR
 
worked for me aswell.
just used the live chat, and he instantly refounded it to my paypal acc :)
