Legion increases gold cap to 9,999,999

The maximum amount of gold that can be held at once has been increased to 9,999,999 gold. Guild bank maximum has also been increased to 9,999,999 gold.

I guess ur accounts would be banned long before u even reach 1 million.... or is it just me unlucky

You probably bot blatantly in high populated areas. That runs a high risk of being banned. I made well over a million when 6.2 hit running a skinning profile and felblight farming. Roughly pulled in 1.2-1.5 million over a few week period. Unsubbed the account once the price dropped below 120 per felblight as my account is worth more than what that margin would bring in.
 
I also use to work with someone who was a GM for blizzard before the job I met him at, and he claimed that most of the bans have to be done by a GM watching your behavior. He claimed that it was much harder than what I thought. However, being a botter myself, I can spot a bot from a mile away. The key to not getting banned is to bot in non peak hours, and to use server hopping frequently so you aren't in the same instance of the same area 24/7. That's atleast how I was able to get away with it for such a long time.

Don't get me wrong, every now and then the bot would KS, and people would cry and call me a bot, but I would just log him out for a day or two then log back in, server hop and continue on the daily grind.
