Hi All,

First of all i'd like to point out that I am a *COMPLETE* beginner.

I'd like to teach myself C# and wondered if anybody can recommend a book which is targeted at beginnners.

Also, I was looking on Amazon and a lot of books said things like "Teach yourself C# 2005" or "Teach youself C# 2008" etc. Does the year actually matter at all ? What difference is there from year to year?

Thank you !

If you just want to learn to write plugins/ccs, you can better just download Visual Studio and start with either a CC or something like a Relogger (and yes, you can start just fine by starting with a CC and messing with it for a month or 2).

If you want to learn C# to actually write stand-alone apps, you will need to spend quite some time on it. You won't learn it from reading.
