Hi everyone I've been having a problem with the game freezing for a few seconds at a time every 10 seconds (and sometimes more often). These aren't decrease in FPS to like 10-20, this is straight up pausing of the screen for several seconds. I don't know what the cause may be or how I can fix it? This only started up yesterday and it's not the internet connection, it's definitely something else. I set my wow process to HIGH already and it still does it. I have an Alienware Aurora Intel Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.8ghz, 9GB ram, ATI Radeon HD 5800.

Is it at all possible that my HB is causing it? I have been adding a lot of things to it lately such as CC's and new bots so maybe its too much for my CPU to handle? Any ideas??

could this have anything to do with the HB server issues lately? would that possibly cause in game lag spikes????

I've also noticed this, quite annoying as it appears while raiding.

its your customclass. we do this thing called framelocking for doing multiple injects for a client during a single frame, so during something like a boss fight where there can be 100 wow aura's on a target its going to take some time to inject though all that code. for the most part its nothing to worry about. if your worried about it then try another CC.

thanks for responding. so are you saying the freeze time that occurs during the game is not going to affect my heals? is everything still happening as if the game screen is not freezing up?

From my understanding, for the most part yes.

thank you! and one last question. I think this started when I updated to the new version of HB. If I have the previous version still on my hard drive, is it safe to use and go back to using that one?

no, you always want to use the latest version.

I've been able to reproduce the issue while using a dummy CC and standing still in town.

set wow process on a higher than normal priority (task manager)
