Horrendous Lag plagued me as it has several other users on the Demonbuddy forums. The Bee (Tony) stated that it is merely visual and does not affect the performance of the bot in a different thread. The statement on performance is not correct (sorry Tony) runs take markedly longer to complete. However; I have hope to offer in place of an update to Demonbuddy. The culprit from what I can surmise is Overlays and the interactions they have with Demonbuddy. For me, the disabling of the overlays, have restored Demonbuddy to workable levels. I have tested this utilizing the in-game GR timer over the course of several hours. I currently run Gr 95 with 5 min clears. Before disabling Overlay's, I would only get 2-5 runs before lag would slowly creep in and increase run time by 6-8 minutes making the per run counter 12-13min. After disabling overlay's, I am currently running 5-6min on run # 36
Here is how to disable the Overlay's that my system has.
(IMPORTANT: Your system and overlays may be different. If the program modifies the keyboard or offers shortcuts there is a good chance it is an overlay.)
Windows 10 users (game DVR and Game Bar):
Go to Settings ---> Gaming ----> Game Bar / Game DVR and disable both
Razer Synapsis:
Close the program the whole thing is an overlay. Right-click the Razer icon in the system tray --> close program.
Nvidia Geforce Experience:
click the Cogwheel to left of username ----> General - features pane ----> Ingame overlay ---> opens new pane IN-Game Overlay to left of features pane ----> Toggle off.
Discord:
User Settings ----> Overlay -----> Toggle off Enable In-game overlay.
Some other notable programs with overlay's
Steam
Origin
Twitch
Logitech
Teamspeak
AMD Catalyst
I am sure other members can give far more technical information in regards to this topic. The purpose of this post is merely to share what worked for me after trying other steps mentioned in various other posts recently made since Season 14 start.
