Ladders/Seasons, an incoming banwave and You

Well since Ros hit us with BOA gear blizzard doesn't SEEM to care about us botters, which is logical because we really don't interfere with ANY game mechanic to our favor expect of time.

BUT
when Ladders arrive the LAST thing they(bliz) want is people whining about Unfairness of ladders due to to botters which kill the competition to innocent average players
the way i see it, while we celebrate here and bot 24/7, blizzard are sharpning their swords and forging huge BaneHammers for the stupid enough botter to step into Seasons

It might sound like a paranoia , but me, i wouldnt advise you to even try, i think it should be like a silent code of acceptance between us botters and blizz, let us bot quietly in Non ladder games without banning us, and We wont ruin the competition to anyone els in seasons.

whats your opinion?
 
think about how long it took blizz to add their butchered version of pvp. we're safe for now.
 
I agree, i'd hope nobody is stupid enough to begin botting in the ladders. there is more than likely going to be ban waves happening in 2.1.
 
I don't care even if I get banned, the game is shit anyway right now. Out of 200 legendaries maaaaybe 1 or 2 are semi decent. I can bot for a week and not see an upgrade, like Wand of Woh or a well rolled SoJ. Every day the only thing waiting in my stash is disappointment and 10's of butcher's sickles and whatever trash decides to drop over and over again.
If you can't win even by botting 24/7, imagine how miserable it is for the casual player... Yup..

Good points.

I have no intention of destroying the ladder competition by botting 24/7. It's a sure-fire way to get jellyh8ters reporting you, leading to a ban.
The top paragon players, listed on Diabloprogress are botters too, though.
 
You stick to your non ladder. I'll be leveling very valuable ladder chars, thx.

by all means do so,
btw,
battle.net have a discount for new diablo accounts, buy one now before they terminate it..
once you get your valuable ladder chars banned you might need it

It's a good thing we have people like you around here to bring down the quality of the average posts.

I loled at the last part. I like the idea, but ill lay low once this hits and see what happens...

No, thats not how it works. False logic.

1. Blizzard has a loot timer that resets when you dont loot a leg item for a given amount of time. Something like 6 hours. This makes it easier for casuals to get leg drops.
2. Casuals wouldent be geared like someone that bots 24/7. Things are going to be upgrades for them more likely when drops happen. They are having more fun then you pretend.

I think you underestimate how fast even a casual player will hit soft gear cap. Even my dog can faceroll T1 after gearing up for 10 hours.
Diablo has never been a casual game to begin with.
 
I don't really care if I get banned. Bliz took a huge steaming dump on this game. I just want to try out the new sets without having to sacrifice a couple thousand hours of my life.

^What he said. Only reason I started botting was after over 15 hours in T3 Wizard only rifts and seeing maybe 4-5 things drop that would have been upgrades, none dropped for me. :(
