Hello, not really sure where I should put this thread so I decided I'd place it here. I'm sure it'll get moved, but hopefully not deleted. I'm sure this issue has arisen in this community a few times, I've browsed the forums and have not found the topic. So here goes.
I function on a moderately populated server in the evenings, so I don't bot in the evenings. I only bot in the wee hours of morning, when people are sleeping/etc. I make sure to do a /who on both my alliance, and horde toon for the zone....as I have two accounts, seperate IPs, botting in the same zone.
Usually, there is 2-5 people there, total. Including both factions.
Now, that said....in those hours, the 2-5 people there are usually bots. The past eleven to thirteen times I've set my bot up (keep in mind I've never had trouble with this until Pirox shut down) I wake up to find not just one or two people on the same path, but 2-5 people literally landing at the exact time, on the exact node.
There is a serious lack of good profiles on this forum. It seems like everything is plugin oriented, coding oriented, etc. I came to this community because I am not a hardcore profile developer....just a regular subscriber who likes to bot and have a real life, instead of mindless grinding.
Everyone on my server that is botting is using Zuabros mining profiles. Is he/that the only profile in existence that works well? Shaddar's do as well. When I am by myself here, those profiles do work wonderfully, but you are never by yourself in a zone farming. Always other bots. Evo and Pirox shut down, the only bot people are using is Honorbuddy. The only two profiles in existence are Shaddar's and Zuarbos (that actually work worth a damn)...and every botter in the universe is using them. Most other profiles run into walls, stop between hot spots even when KILL BETWEEN is enabled. Tons of shit.
I bought best keys on two seperate accounts because a friend told me you guys keep up with your profiles, Honorbuddy does everything etc. So far, the dungeon bot doesn't work, battleground bot runs into walls, and the profile selection for farming is extremely limited....to a point to where it's scary to leave your bot on. These problems all exist with CodenameG's CCs enabled, properly ticked. I've tried other CCs, and even with movement facing enabled, bot still doesnt face his target....even with default settings as mods have suggested before. Bot dies often because a scorpion/snake will melee his 200k health into the ground because he's not facing.
I am extremely experienced with botting, and it is not a bot configuration/player configuration issue. It is a lack of profile issue. Would be nice to see some diversity in working profiles, because five people landing on the same node = not why I bought this bot.
Thank you, and this is not a flame post....but maybe someone can show me where I can find some profiles other than the single Zuabros one, or Shaddar's....that is worth a damn for gathering?
Cheers.
PS If I do chose to bot in the evening, I've seen the node train as long as six players. So, it just seems like a ban waiting to happen. I've even tried offsetting the times of when I start/stop it. If I am in a que with four-five people landing for the same node I will stop the bot for 5-10 minutes. Start it by myself, then come back an hour or two later to find myself in the same train of people.....so it's definitely a problem.
