Lack of End game CRs and support

Before people get their panties in a bunch shoutout to Millz, Hazzrd, Tuanha,Mirabis and Handnavi....all of their products are worth their weight in gold.

Not sure if I missed something like the combat system for HB is being reworked or buddy store is scaring people away from developing and improving the CR.

Did everyone quit after the banwave or something?

Well there actually is a lack of both Free and Paid CRs. Most of the free ones aren't being supported anymore, and from posts on the forums, neither are many of the paid ones. I resorted to creating my own for dps in a raid setting since ones already posted weren't suiting my needs and the SimcraftImpl botbase wasn't working until a fix was posted on one of the last pages of its thread.

I use Tuanha paid on my shaman, decent at healing but ele dps is quite poor.

I am a person who believes in making your own solutions to problems (making your own combat routine, profile, plug in) but OP has a point.

Since the introduction of the buddy store and paid support while its an incentive for developers to offer long term support its dented the community. I no longer come to the forums as much and neither do many others.

The idea of communal collaboration on projects has all but gone. Shame.

To be honest; if you need a Custom combat routine for raids and things then paying $10-$20 is definitely worth it. If you're doing a lot of bg's on a lot of toons, a custom base is recommended. Free things has dried up since HB made it easy for them to get paid without any additional hassle. There are free ones around; but if you need a really top tier one; then pay for it.

It's a bit sad the community has stopped developing everything for free; but it takes A LOT of time to develop, test, etc, etc all of the things required to create these things.

Well honestly this is why I use another bot for raiding/pvp and I use Honorbuddy for Botting un-attendant and what not

The problem is i do understand that if you dont like the free either make your own or buy but why does it have to resort to that. When we all first bought the bot everything was free and people were out there helping there fellow botters. now all you see is greed not only from developers but HB as well with the store and what not. Not to mention when you try to get a solid reason as to why nothing free works worth shit or takes months to get it right you get ignored or posted closed or deleted. I personally only come here if i am having issues with somthing and cr's are the biggest issue im having right now i hope somone out there that knows how to make their own will help me because im to stupid to make my own. And i refuse to dump crap tons of money into cr's for a bot that personally i dont see lasting for years to come atleast not the wow bot.

I have the all in one bundle and so far the DK routine has been fine for me. In PVP and PVE. Have been using it for well over a year now.

Yes I also have it.... I've been using it well for well over years I helped testing phase on his Monk CR..

Im doing 33k as unholy with ilv 701 .....i mean WHAT THE HELL , i even got kicked twice from hfc lol.

what happened to the routine ? dmg seems terrible on it pulling more dps in singular atm my alt dk is only 650 ilvl atm but its not pulling even 15k dps Oo and judging by comments its same for others also

Tuanha is spread far too thin trying to manage all the different classes now. It's actually quite a shame.

Some specs are quite good while some specs are utterly useless.

I am also a proud supporter of Millz, Tuanha and Mirabis. I also own Oracle 2 and Your raiding buddy. However one thing I have noticed of late is the lack of updates from some of my purchases. I was under the assumption that anything bought from the store had a contractual obligation to support and update the routines, but thus far it has been a far from ideal situation.

Given that, I from now on will no longer be purchasing anything from the buddy store until even the slightest doubt that ongoing support and updates will be like pulling teeth.

I am also concerned regarding the new contract that community developers have to sign in order for their products to be sold on the buddy store. I am seeing a growing trend of top level developers refusing to sign a contract and therefore having their work no longer available for purchase. It makes me wonder if the Honorbuddy dev team had thought that perhaps selling a lifetime bot for a game that is entering its twelfth year, and has no signs of stopping, was a profitable business decision. This would also explain the penny pinching tactics they are using on store purchases. Taking 30-40% from a community developer who previously did not have to outlay anywhere near that to release their work seems like daylight robbery.

Lastly it also seems that any negative words spoken about this buddystore on the forums are shut down quickly by none other than Tony "post a log, locked" Legendary moderator.

I for one hope the awesome devs from this once great community move on so we can once again support their great work in an open and uncensored environment.

I feel the same pyroe. It feels at times like they are taking a crazy amount from the developers but at the same time the bot is still going off based on payments of $30 for a license. I'd be more then happy to pay a monthly/yearly subscription for the bot if HB upped their game and ante; but at the same time; they are under heavy legal pressure from blizzard so I'm sure they've spent a fortune on that. A lot of the developers are very proactive in terms of updating their work and the HB mods are usually extremely helpful.

If HB wanted to have a "jazzed up" or "premium" bot offered; I'd be more then happy to vote yes in a poll to pay for that. We love you HB and are more than happy to support.

Hb offers Singular CR which works for all specs/classes,you paid and you got exactly what it was advertised

the contract between us and 3rd party devs is none of your business,you can create your own 3rd party Bstore if you like and make better contracts with 3rd party devs
till that time let us decide how we like to run our own company

you are not forced to use Bstore at all if you dont like it btw,what Bossland Gmbh devs do support is the stock aspects of Honorbuddy
everything in Bstore (except stock shizzle) is supported only by 3rd party devs

Hang on a minute Tony. The contract between the developers and the buddy team Directly effects us all. Great projects are stalled because of the ever increasing demands from your store.

I am well aware that I am not forced to use your Buddy store but unfortunately in order to obtain the projects from my favorite developers I Have to use your store, albeit most of the store purchases I own were purchased before the integration into the buddystore.

Contact your favourite dev's directly and work it out with them if you want; I know a lot of them are more then happy to do that as well as most of them sell it privately as well.
