Kongor quit D3

I think he said he will only take a long break until d3 becomes playable again. Honestly after few weeks of 1.07 there will be even less people playing as the game is mostly dead and now all the top streamers switched to poe for now and it seems a lot of people are following them.
Honestly beside the graphical aspect d3 is far worse actually and less versatile.

just to know, Kongor is 1 streamer who got like 2-3k viewers, and just to think about it, if he quit a lot of fanboys will follow him, just mean, more crap AH! u got it?

Kinda true, but when a player with 4k+ viewers switch a game, his followers see their idol switch to some other game and they tend to fallow it, and when some of the players like nugy, kungen, ect leave diablo they create a lot of exposure.
Also the more players that leave d3 it makes it that harder for you to sell the gold and items , stashing it and the prices will eventually drop again to 0.14$/mil from a Chinese sellers...

He is a streamer with a few couple thousand viewers mostly from US where the economy is actually going up towards 1.7, you make no sense at all. If gold sinks a bit during these weeks it will be because it's already fucked up in EU or PoE launch, not because some punk kid who quit a game.
 
Who? More importantly, who cares? Those guys who watch streamers aren't your average joe dropping $50-100 on gear and gold in the AH.

if there was not big guilds in wow posting kill videos. wow would never be as big as it is now.

diablo 3 doesnt need any streamers, it sold millions on release. it has a decade of diablo followers and every other person who plays blizz games know about it. if you think these streamers 'help' the game, the only thing they do is help scrubby players watch them as if they are different than themselves.
 
Actually imo streamers are important. Everything is important.
I was Hc gamer before i became lazy and started to like money, now im only botting.
But gamers motivation directly affects our income. We do earn from them.
Those that are into game enough to spend few hundred $, need to be into the game, or they will not spend anythig.

But on the other hand. If POE will overtake decent part of a player population, we can allwayz go bot there :) J/k with this one

But tbh, i dont think blizzard will allow something like that to happen. They have a manpower and resources.
They will adjust the game so ppl keep playing it. There will be a real patch that will bring ppl back do D3.
competition is good. Maybe blizz already has the changes that would make D3 shine, but waiting for PoE release with it
Or maybe they are now working their assess off, stealing as much as possible from POE open beta as they can.

They anywayz implement everything that was ever done properly in their games, scavinging other games & movies & good stories.

but with resources and manpower they have, if they dont abandon d3, game will not die.
