I've been using KA's tested questing profiles (EK 1-60, BC and now WOTLK) a lot but for the past few days I'll start HB and go to work for several hours, then come home to find myself D/C'd from WoW after only gaining one level. Is there something in place to prevent me from gaining more than one level while AFK or something???

Sometimes my guy will have died in a weird location that the bot couldn't get back to or sometimes I'll have D/C'd from HB, one time I think the log said it purposely D/C'd me for having full bags or something. I've also come back to the bot repeatedly opening and closing a vendor window and doing nothing else but that.

Just seems like I'm having a ton of problems, any tips to get this to be more stable?

edit: also, when I started using the wotlk quest bot more recently I chose to download the "release" version rather than the beta ones because it stated that it was very stable and AFKable but that it just might not level as fast. Still D/Cing after only one level though. I'm having way more trouble with BC and WOTLK than I did with 1-58.

I haven't added any plugins I'm running default. Not using any other mods, 10mb download w/ like 50 latency its usually stable some nights it'll go down when they do maintenance but that's about it.

Haven't downloaded any custom classes just using default, I've noticed that sometimes it will die because every once in awhile it'll pick a fight with a monster and then do nothing but auto-attack and use no skills so it won't be able to kill the NPC before it kills me, then sometimes its fine as soon as it gets into it's next encounter.

I'm not sure which logs are which, I've started up and quit a lot of times when restarting HB trying to get things to work so there's probably a bunch of trash logs to sift through, might be best for me to wait til next time that I use it and it D/Cs and I'll post that log.

Yeah, just delete all the old logs, clean out that folder.
Then start it up and see if you get any unwanted stuff. Then explain What was happening, where, what profile, and then attach the log plz :)

Okay so I ran HB a couple times and it got stuck fairly quickly both times, in 1 level or less.

When I came back and saw it stopped for this first log, my guy was just sitting down doing nothing in ghost form (dead) at a spirit healer, I'm sure it would've probably D/C'd if it had been sitting there longer.

This second log is from a while later after restarting HB, my guy was just sitting AFK at the main building in Fizzcrank, I'm sure it would've D/C'd here as well if it had sat idle for longer.

Annnnd for some reason it looks like it's only allowing me to attach the second log... the first one just has a little red ! sign next to it when I try to upload.

at the specific part of the profile,you have to do the elevator quests manually

The bot got stuck a couple more times and I have descriptions and logs to match for those but I thought I'd try a custom class first to see if it would solve my problem so I downloaded and extracted Singular to my custom classes folder, How do I tell honorbuddy which CC to use though once I've put the folder there? It looks like there were two CCs by default when I dl'd HB, now there's the new Singular that I put in there as well. How do I know which one it will use??
 
If you have installed the CC properly HB will ask which one you want to use when you start it, you should delete the Singular thats in there and just install the new one so it wont get confused.. Like Tony said maybe try Fspware CC aswell, I use his CC's on most of my toons and dont have problems

thats true

if you have more than on CC for the same class you a selector should pop when you press Start button or the CC Config button
as for Singular you have to delete the existing one first


in any case if you still got issues post your log here and i will check it
 
Okay woke up to WoW D/C'd this morning and my toon had only gained a couple bars at most from when I set it up for overnight. Here's that log (log1), and I deleted the other CC's from that folder as well just using the newest singular.

Afterwards I restarted HB and logged back into WoW, got it started up again and hopped in the shower. Get out of the shower to find that WoW "crashed" and the Blizzard error reporter thing was on screen. Attaching that log as well (log2).

Both times I was using the mixed mode, grinding + BG beta. Using kick's alliance LK grind profile. I also had a weird issue where it wouldn't let me load the profile the otherday, it just wanted to keep using a questing profile that I had been using so I had to remove the quest profile from the folder and place the grinding one there but under the same filename as the quest one so that HB would use it.

the first log shows that you logged out because of inactivity probably that came after the CC errors you got

so i suggest you to use fpsware's Warrior CC


the second log shows a random dc imo
 
Okay, well log 2 was a wow error rather than D/C but I'll try out that CC over the weekend hopefully it'll help thx.
