So I was one of the many MyGoBot users. But I've been a long time customer of Bossland, using mainly Honorbuddy for decades and I have sunked a whole lot of money into Honorbuddy and multiple sessions / licenses. This is by no means a "why did you kill MyGoBot, why don't you give me lifetime" whining thread.
But quite frankly I have to admit that the current state of Pokefarmer isn't really as good as MyGoBot was. It was simply more efficient in terms of EXP per hour, was easier to configure and use. I can't for the life of me get Pokefarmer to be as efficient as MyGoBot was. And I still have a instance of MyGoBot still running, and there is no denying that it manages to grab more EXP per hour even though it farms in the same area.
I also feel like Pokefarmer is still somewhat lacking in terms of features like evolving. IV calculation and what not.
I'm sure Pokefarmer will see some great improvements over time, and especially after Bossland purchasing MyGoBot I'm sure they can take some inspiration from that code and implement some of it features within Pokefarmer.
But at it's current state I can't help but feel like I'm using an inferior product. Why not simply leave the MyGoBot authentication open until Pokefarmer has managed to get every features of MyGoBot integrated within it?
