Keep my money, I'm embarrassed to own this product

I've been consistently impressed with the buddy bots over the years, even for games that are far less popular than wow. I was surprised at the skepticism aimed towards the stormbuddy product and decided to go against the grain by tossing in $20 and support the product line that I've considered to be the standard for botting.

Unfortunately my optimism was completely unjustified, this product is truly an embarrassment to own. To give it the benefit of the doubt, I let the bot do its thing for 8 games in a row and I watched a series that ended in a 1:7 win/loss ratio using Rehgar, Valla, Zagara and Tassadar. Based on the bot's performance in the first 3 hours, this bot is only fit to farm exp via losses in vs. AI teams. After the first 2 matches I decided to use AI teammates because it was too glaringly obvious that I was botting.

I for one fell for a product which is clearly a cash grab. Shame on me.

Technically you didn't fall for anything, you decided to buy it, despite the skepticism.

Technicalities aside, I find it hard to disagree with you. I can only hope the developer, and Bossland GmbH prove us wrong.

I agree with your sentiment, but

Hearthbuddy was never OCR, and hearthbuddy is a lot easier to improve, from a coding standpoint.

sadly hearthbuddy is still far inferior to smartbot, both in terms of ai and seeming human. i'm worried stormbuddy will end up the same

Please by all means if you can do better then make your own HoTS bot and spend hours writing code for it, otherwise shut your mouth and let these guys work to fix the known issues with the bot.

+1 Apoc He has surprised me many times <3 and had always stayed professional. Apoc, flumi, and i think NoExcesses Are working hard to put out a great re write of this bot And i cant wait to see the outcome.
And get some reading material soon on how there api is going to goo.

Apoc is a god amongst coders, this is a work in progress, just look at how many years honorbuddy has been king of all bot programs anywhere on the planet. Just take it the fuck easy, let it grow, let him work and improve and stop being an entitled little brat.

Aside from asinine banter on like this, it's nice to see more communication from the buddy team on this product now.

Apoc definitely knows what he's doing. I'd say just give it time. Bossland GmbH's bots always start out like this and get better over time. To be honest, I prefer it this way instead of them making us wait another 6 months or more until it's perfect, where we can use it while it's being improved.

Probably 12y old kid, that only knows how to unwrap presents and still thinks santa brings em to him, and not his parents paying for it. You do realize that the buddybots team need time and effort to make this bot work right ? And you do know they always stand behind their products, i have 0 doubt that this bot will work to satisfactory levels in foreseeable future, time to wake up kido boo-hoo santa aint real

Everything you said about Apoc and honorbuddy may be true, but it is not fair to call someone entitled for complaining about paying for something and not receiving it. The bot should function at least on a fundamental level. Bugs and breakdowns are to be expected, but expecting to get what you pay for is not entitlement.

You are unnecessarily rude and cruel. In the real world we call that a bully which is usually a result of abuse and/or self esteem issues. I doubt it is much different in this virtual one. At any rate, the bot should function now or it should stop being sold. If you buy a product, you expect it to work.
