Keep highest IV

Can anyone confirm if the keep highest IV setting is working yet? Dont want to activate it and lose half the Pokemon that have been caught unnecasserily

I can confirm, works perfectly. The bot will sort out all pokemons and keep only as much as allowed (1 ,2 or 3) favourites will be kept and not counted, so you can have x favourites PLUS the 1, 2 or 3 depending on your setting.

Just select IV only, not CP & IV. It's working great for me since 0.86

Game question here; why only sort by IV? Doesn't CP matter at all? How will I know which pokemon to evolve if the one has higher iv and the other has higher CP?

IV is more important.
Think of IV as your highest maximum potential while CP is just levels.
CP can be 'trained' via powering up your Pokemon while IV is randomly generated and fixed.
Two dragonites with the same CP but different IV can have a difference of up to 400CP when fully maxed out

I have seen 100cp 94iv a bunch of times. I would hate for it to dump a 1020cp 78iv to keep the first one. The 1020cp 78iv is not one you build long term but if you do a lot of gyms its great gym fodder. While the 100cp 94iv has a better future its also a long ways away. I have it set to keep the top two of CP and IV and its treated me well for the most part.

Very simple: Set the 1020cp as favourite. Set all pokemons which you plan to use for something as favourite. They will be save from auto transfer (as long as the checkbox is checked )
