Today (2011-08-22) a new database was released to Kaspersky.
In the new database of Kaspersky, HB was for some reason flagged as "HEUR:Trojan.Win32.Generic" and therefore (in my case anyway) Kaspersky make HB unable to be used.

But note, HB does NOT contain any sort of malicious malware!

So, after some testing I finally found a fix for this problem

HOW TO FIX
If you already have Honorbuddy on your computer

1. Bring up the main window of Kaspersky
2. Up in your right corner press "Settings"
3. A window pops up and you shall look for "Application Control" to your left, click it
4. You'll see a button which says "Applications...", click it
5. Now search for "Honorbuddy" in that list (should be all the way down below "Untrusted")
6. Once founded right-click on "Honorbuddy" and hold your mouse over "Move to group >" and select "Trusted"
7. Now, close all the Kaspersky windows and run HB.exe as usual :)

Note, if you don't want Kaspersky to say "Your computer security is at risk" follow Scotty516's link

HOW TO FIX
If you have to download HB

1. Bring up the main window of Kaspersky
2. Up in your right corner press "Settings"
3. In the window that pops up you have an option which says "Select action automatically" unmark this.
4. Download HB and allow the download
5. Start botting! :)

Thank you! :)

If you didn't read the first post I just explained in large letters that HB isn't a virus and also described how to add it to, what you call it, "whitelist".
I had a hard time finding it and thought I would share it with the rest of the community.

Thank you! :)

Well, if you are about to start a discussion of which Antivirus is the best, this isn't the right place :)

When you've pressed "Settings" in the upper right corner you have four different tabs to choose between in the new window that pops up.
One looks like shield, the other like magnifying glass and so on.
Press the shield and search for "Application Control" right below it in that list.
It's between "IM Anti-Virus" and "System Watcher" in that list.

Hope it helped

@Swazer it doesnt have the applictation control part between im anti virus and system watcher
