What this profile does:

Flies to Karazhan from any location
Checks to see if character has done the questline to summon Nightbane
Completes the quests needed to Summon Nightbane
Kills all bosses in Karazhan including the Chess Event. (could take quite a few tries but I complete kara 3-4 times a week)
Hearths out upon completion

What this profile farms for:

Various level BC Wow BoE transmog gear

This Profile is difficult for those who do not have melee attacks (in the library)

Hi, I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't get the Karazahn profile to work, what happens when I load is that it shows the whole xml in the log screen, I get the popup if I want to continue the profile or not and then it comes up with the following:

Where are you starting the bot? You need to start it anywhere EXCEPT inside the instance. Inside will not work.

first of all, thank you for your answer.
I did start inside, if I start outside I just get the message: Bot Stopped! Reason: Nothing more to do. Stopping bot.
I've started the bot again when I was in Vale of Eternal Blossoms and it seemed to work but wanted to go to Kalimdor and take the zeppelin so I thought I'll fly through portal in org and start again but again the message: Bot Stopped! Reason: Nothing more to do. Stopping bot. The next thing I did was go back to org zeppelin and started the bot again as the zeppelin appeared but the game bugged out, I walked on the zeppelin and my screen went black. I logged back in but ofc the zeppelin was gone already. I took the zeppelin when it was back, went to Tirisfall glades and started the bot again but again the message: Bot Stopped! Reason: Nothing more to do. Stopping bot. So back to org it was and start the bot again. Now the bot took the zeppelin to Tirisfall glades, my char walks off the zeppelin and again Bot Stopped! Reason: Nothing more to do. Stopping bot.

My guess in this case is that you did not copy the quest behaviors Chess.cs and SwitchTarget.cs from our svn to the Honorbuddy Quest Behaviors folder. They need to be there, and you need to completely restart the bot for it to work.

I did that the first time before I installed honorbuddy with a fresh install but didn't do it WITH the fresh install so I just did it and now it's working like a charm, thanks and sorry for the noobiness ><

I did it on my ilvl 495 paladin, started the red riding hood event myself, don't know if it does it but it took a while and it did the chess event in 1 go (with a little help from myself in the end, the king didn't move out of medivh's cheating fire) but the bot wanted to start the event again so I did the rest by hand.

Curious:
1. It will definitely start red riding hood by itself, no worries there.
2. are you horde or alliance? I have not tested the chess behavior as thoroughly for horde as for alliance.
3. If you restarted the bot after finishing chess manually, it may have tried to do chess again anyway.

1. ah ok, I was just being impatient then lol.
2. I play horde, I'll let another character run it tomorrow and let you know what it did.
3. I didn't restart the bot, the game was finished and again I was probably impatient and opened the chest manually, after I did that and got the loot the bot made my toon walk to the king again.

I'll let another character run it tomorrow again and try to not touch anything and go watch a movie in the meanwhile to be sure

Edit: My first guess is to copy the quest behaviors from Kick's Questing profiles over.... think it might be a problem with InteractWith behavior in beta

Ilvl 507 horde warlock:

I went in with my warlock last night and this morning when I woke up I was disconnected from wow, I logged back in and found out I was dead. I ressed and started the bot again and fell asleep again. When I woke up again I was dead again. I ressed again and started the bot again and noticed it wanted to go repair so I got my repair mount up, repaired and started the bot again. It went in. I had let my warlock go without pet because the bot seemed to have a bit of problems targetting mobs, my pet killed off mobs before I touched them so no rep.

Then I entered the room after the curator and that's where the problems started. I remember from back in the days that the mana feeders were immune to spells and they still were so I had to get my voidlord out again to kill them. From this moment on I decided to keep my pet out all the time again but this is not good if you're in kara for farming rep (note: my pet is on assist but before the bot gets a cast off the mobs are already killed by my pet.)

At chess the bot went to speak to the alliance king first and then to the horde king, so far so good. I watched what was happening... nothing, the game started, pieces moved around but the king which I controlled did nothing, it just stood still. In the end the alliance king stood in front of me and slaughtered me. The bot had a bit of trouble getting back up on the platform where you end up when you dismiss a chesspiece so I helped a bit. It then wanted to go to the grunt in front of the king and speak to it. Then I had an idea, might it not be my own pet causing trouble. I dismissed it but couldn't try anymore, the bot kept walking to the grunt in front of the king so I stopped the bot and finished it manually. I'll give another update next week when I can do it again.

The part with the mana feeders, I unfortunately can do nothing about. As far as chess goes, I need some details. If you could send a full log file of the chess encounter that would help. I have no horde chars, so have not been able to test horde chess. Let me know!

As far as chess goes, this sounds like you forgot to copy the quest behaviors from our svn to the honorbuddy quest behavior folder before running the bot. Specifically, Chess.cs MUST be in your Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors folder for the chess event to work.

Edit: Also made a very small change to the profile adding a waittimer between piece interaction that was there for alliance chess, but not for horde.
